Terrible return policies. Tried exchanging brand new box of 14x20” furnace filters because my furnace takes 14x25”, didn’t have receipt. Figured they could do straight exchange since both boxes have the same retail price. Nope! Only want to offer me $31 dollars for my brand new box because I don’t have receipt and that was the cheapest price in the last 90 days.. Why does that matter?? I’m exchanging a box of filters for another box of equally prized filters! How could you be cheated in that transaction regardless of what I originally paid for it?? Morons!

Great people to work with! I had an issue in the Winona store with the managers saying one thing and not having proper communication! I needed to return a snow blower that was still in packaging, had all the plastic still on, and never used. We talked to front end manager Jake who was VERY knowledgeable and understanding of our certain situation. We took the snowblower there, they inspected it and even though it was frustrating for us they worked through the problem and got us walking out the door with a smile. Mandi at front customer service desk is one hell of an employee and helped us every step of the way. I truly appreciate your work and the smiles that were consistently on your faces. You guys are the TRUE Menards employees. Thank you!

The store general manager has a lot to learn about customer serveice. He disrespected me in front of my wife and kids. I was not looking for anything but help on fixing my issue. Menards runs on a do it yourself platform. If I can't trust your sales associates to help me with my purchases there's something wrong. A mistake was made on a special order. Exact words were when you buy something it's your issue if it's wrong. Not mine. Is that true. Yes. But the fact that you would not help with any solutions is wrong. I also asked who else I could speak with he said there is no one else. He's as high as it goes. I will not be shopping at Menards south anymore.

Your customer service is very poor. Y’all need to train them up there, how to treat a customer with respect. I have never been treated so poorly and disrespectful. They need to wipe the smirks off there faces and treat customers with some dignity.

Terrible customer service by the employees I encountered. Building materials offered assistance to get something but after waiting in the completely quiet store (it was nearly empty of customers) for their assistance that never appeared I left for greener pastures at the customer service oriented Home Depot.

Eli in the Cabinet/Appliances section has been so awesome to work with. We are in process of ordering cabinets. We are not contractors and have no idea what we are doing- he has been so wonderful answering all of our questions and going above and beyond in assisting us. I will be back to order everything for our kitchen remodel through Eli.

Sometimes hard to find someone to help. Then when you do find someone; they do not know how to answer my questions according.Other then the employees, the store is always clean and it easy to locate whatever you are looking for.
