Hannah Burkholder was terrible, she rushed through it, heavy handed with the color brush, felt like needles poking your head, and very sloppy, there were drops of dye flying everywhere and on my face, thank god for the cape. 30 minutes later she came back in pulled the foils off my hair without checking to see if the highlights took, shampooing was uncomfortable, the chair barely reached the sink and I’m tall, she asked how I wanted my hair styled, I said I’ll let it air dry, I was so ready to leave. My right side looks brassy. She wasn’t personable but during I talked about when I would need a redo in the future but I changed my mind, it def won’t be with her after that experience.

I personally feel it was too expensive for what it was. If I'm paying 90$ for a haircut and I book it in advance, they should be ready to start my appointment when I get there but instead they started it over half an hour late. They didn't talk to me while I sat waiting or explain why they were late getting to me and they didn't seem busy. Didn't leave a great impression.

This was one of the worst haircuts and color experiences. The cut is uneven and choppy. The layers are at the bottom of my hair and choppy. The face framing is choppy as well. Katrina did not ask how I wanted the layers nor did she check to see if the cut was even. I wanted a full color and highlights. Katrina thought doing full highlights would be better and could achieve the desired look through highlights only. I trusted her recommendation and explained I didn’t like the dark color underneath and want everything blended. Never shown color swatches. The results were horrible. The color is gray/green and the highlights were not evenly distributed throughout the hair. The foils were not placed close enough to the scalp. This is very evident on the sides at the front of my face were she was very heavy with the highlights. Not what I wanted nor does it look good. The work was horrible. Per conversation it was the purple shampoo she used that caused the color issue (not accurate and lack of responsibility). I did not address the issues immediately since another client was waiting. I didn’t want to be “that person” as a customer waited and be respectful of the stylist’s business. I would take a better look once I made it home and gave it a day to see if the color looked different and see if I would feel differently. It did not happen and provided the stylist the opportunity to stand behind her work. The stylist did not sadly.Katrina Moyer does not stand behind her work to fix the issues. She is pregnant and due soon. Per our conversation she was not going on maternity leave until she had the baby. She stated she was already on maternity leave less than 48 hours later and her calendar had a few openings left for the upcoming week (integrity issue). Regardless as a professional take care of your clients and have a backup plan to ensure your clients are taken care of.I leave this review to be informative to others. Errors happen in every profession. The best stylist can have an off day. Customer satisfaction and standing behind your work as a stylist is vital. The services are not cheap. We the stylists bill board.Service: Haircut
