Drove 45 mins to get here only to find a sign on the door that says they are closed until tomorrow at 12, I'll make sure to call next time before wasting my time and gas

This store needs a complete overhaul of management and staff. Management clearly cannot run a store. They are constantly closed during business hours for various things, (staffing, technical issues, stocking, ect) When they are open, the store is disorganized and messy and employees sit in the back room talking which I guess would be okay if the self checkout was actually working but because it’s not you have to try to get their attention so you can check out.
I really hope corporate can look into this location.

I was just at the Dollar General today at about 1:36pm and I don't know who the employee was but 1 big burly guy was yelling at an older employee because something wasn't stocked right in the freezer section so I witnessed him throwing the frozen product on to the floor hard and with such anger. I don't know who he is but he does not need to be in any position of authority. I wish it would have thought about it. Iwould have took a video.

Under staffed under paid the isles are full of stock and unpassable just another example of DG's corporate failure don't waste your time I'm guessing they are too busy paying fines good thing Kwik Trip is right up the road

I like this location but this location is almost always closed, if they kept the store open more often since there are now self checkouts it would be nice

Horrible experience today a lady working was yelling loudly about a costumer that came in made me so uncomfortable I told her to stop she was making me uncomfortable shopping I don't appreciate her yelling about someone who shopped there . She needs to be fired I asked for manager and the manager was joining in on the conversation so unprofessional so no worth shopping there

I love the Rockford mn Dollar General! I go there almost daily. They always what I need. And it’s such a warm friendly environment. They treat you like family. The new store manager is so kind and approachable. And really seems to know the store! I definitely give this place a five star rating !

I love that Rockford has a Dollar General. You can definitely see that there were growing pains when the store opened. However, it looks like management was working really hard to getting the store dialed in. I have never seen the aisle so pretty and her knowledge of the store is exceptional, for the small amount of time she’s been there. I believe her name is Patience. I love the seasonal stuff. I was able to get everything I need for whatever holiday was on the plate. Just finished buying all the stuff I needed for Halloween. Patience took me on a tour of the stuff that she had there and I was able to get everything and she spent quite a bit of time helping me out which doesn’t ever seem to be the case anywhere else I shop. I felt like the most important customer of the day.

It's nice to have a store with some everyday items in town. But pretty pathetic that I usually have to drive to Delano because the rockford store is always closed. Poorly managed! Delano also has fresh produce, and much more organized.

I shopped in their store 9/17 what a disaster and safety issues galore. There were full u-boats in almost every isle some had 2 U-boats in them making shopping impossible! Forget a wheelchair from getting down any isle which is a violation itself! The emergency exits were blocked as well, only one person in the store that we saw. Also a small child had wondered off as children do, from his mom making it impossible for her to see him down any isles, luckily were saw which way he went. Not sure if this store is ran like this constantly, but if so OSHA should be contacted the serious dangerous violations!! Tried contacting the manager, will also try corporate, but I will not return to this location and continue at Maple Lake location.

They’re closed for stocking every other day for some reason and even though they have a self checkout they don’t use it (or remain open during normal stocking for that matter???) sounds like the owners need to actually pay employees more or actual do something so they’re open half the time. CrazyOh yeah and they constantly have outdated coupons on display so you end up paying more than advertised unless a worker knows how to manually adjust it which is rare. Do some training hire some people sheesh
