“The new owner of Back Yard has made this place something I thought it could never be. This place feel like home, Driving in to downtown Saint Michael, It is the most convenient liquor store in town. This place is so easy to get in out of and he always got everything stocked that you need and if he doesn’t have it, he goes out of his way to make sure he gets in for you. So the next time I would stop more then 99.9% it’s on the shelf. He takes are order very seriously and make sure every time I stop I come out of his store feeling satisfied, and ready to enjoy a cold refreshing beer or a drink. Thanks Back Yard Liquor for all you do and big thanks to Craig for remodeling this place and giving this place a much needed boost. “This is easily the best place to buy bourbon, at the minimum, in the St. Michael area!! Wonderful "Managers Specials" that have allowed me to try some bourbons, I wouldn't have otherwise tried because of the price! Sometimes I have found them to $20 off, on items I have seldom even seen on sale at other liquor stores.”

“First time visiting this evening. Upon arrival the aroma was mouth watering. We had the choice of inside or outside and chose the patio as it was a beautiful night. Shortly after we were greeted with waters and menus. There was a wide selection of beer, wine, and cocktails where we both opted for cocktails, I had the boregarita and my friend had a mojito, both refreshing on an eve like tonight. We started off with the Bourbon Wings and cheese curds and were asked which sauces we wanted so we went with a few and let me tell you was the peppercorn jelly TO DIE FOR. We were full after this little bit but who comes to get BBQ and doesn't even try the BBQ. So we decided on getting a little bit of basically the whole menu. Take a look at the platter and see what we got, note this is not on the menu, we just orders a bunch of miscellaneous items. I would recommend this place to anyone even if you're not a BBQ fan. The meat was extremely flavorful. They also do live music and have a great patio ambience. GO NOW!!!”
