Watch for bait and switch pricing. We looked up a rental online and then stopped in to book because we had some questions. We were given a quote at that time, and then when we returned the car, the price was about $260 more than our quote. When we called about it we found they had charged us per mile for the mileage over 125 miles!

Please be careful when renting a vehicle from here, do not use a debit card and be prepared to wait.Also be careful with the gas in vehicle!!!! Guy checked off saying car was 3/4 full which is correct. Brought car back almost full. They ended up putting 2 gallons in to fill up and charged my card 20 something dollars cause they charge 10 dollars a gallon for gas. Called 2 1/2 weeks ago and still waiting for my refund !

Nobody answers phones there. If you rent with them and need assistance after you leave you are screwed. We've been requesting an invoice for 2 weeks and still have not received one. Tried calling their corporate customer service and they also did not send it like they said they would. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE.Update: still waiting for them to send the correct invoice to my insurance. It's been another week of emailing back and forth to random people they send me to and nobody knows how to do their job. Run!

The booking and the car was fine. We prepaid to secure the amount for a 10day road trip. When we picked up the vehicle we informed that we had prepaid in October, our trip was December. No problem but we still need to swipe your card. Next day at our first stop they had taken out another full payment of over 600 dollars. I called immediately, I was told that was standard practice and I will get it back upon return of the vehicle. Upon the return of the vehicle I informed the agent and was told they don't see that I prepaid and they never hold any additiibal funds. Thankfully I contacted my back who was quick to confirm and email.me the details of the double payments. All.of a sudden the agent could now see that I had prepaid and charged an additional full payment. I was told I had to contact the national customer service same folks who told me it was customary to hold an additional.payment. Fortunately for me I got fine honest person who right away said yes I can see you were charged twice and no you shouldn't have and will open a ticket right away for reimbursement. I got my money back within 10 business days. Now Avis wants us to pay for some bogus traffic tickets that we got in Iowa for about 220 dollars three miles of eachnover for driving river the speed limit. It looks like there are lots of folks who have experienced the same issue as well.with this company. Use them at your own risk.

-10 stars if I could. Worst customer service EVER! Avoid at all cost. They like to scream at their customers. Not worth the stress & hassle. Find a different place to rent a vehicle.
