Update: I had sent an email about this experience to corporate CVS. Well, guess what? The local store called me and now willing to replace my remaining supply. Once I got them home I did an experiment. I took one pill from the old supply and one from the new. Placed them on a plate and added water. The old one dissolved into foam instantly, the new one did not. Proof to the pharmacist that this is not all in my mind. I will be sending a complaint on this lot to the FDA. Coincidentally there was a large article in the NY Times about how most of the drugs now used in the U.S. are being made in substandard conditions with poor quality control in foreign countries.
