I go in to the store, look around and found a cordless screwdriver. It's marked 14.99 but it's used, I ask to have the manager come up front, and I ask the manager this is at Sam's club for 30$ will you take 10$ i said I don't really know how it will work, and she said no, I really can't do that. Goodwill are a bunch of theives, get something for free and make half of what it sells for new. Goodwill is really getting out of control. The prices are ridiculous.

Terrible service and quality overall. Used to be an amazing goodwill but now just has a bunch of new retail junk.

This place has gotten so freaking expensive. I used to like coming here, but I’m not gonna pay 10$for a small chipped pot. Average clothing price goes from 10-25$ toys are marked up too, even if they’re dirty and broken. I dunno what happened, but I won’t be coming back here. It’s a shame.

Dressing rooms. Staff will not allow you to try on clothing in the bathroom. Very annoying and inconvenient. Will not be shopping here again.
Again I visit this location trying it out again. The employee is rude. I wear headphones due to a disability and loud sudden noise causes me to have cataplexy episode where I fall to the ground. I didn't hear her call for the next person after she opened up a second register. So I didn't even see her walk up. And she is doing all these extra hand movements with an attitude. And I get checked out by the cashier I was in line for and as I'm leaving she makes a hand gesture of headphones and shrugging making a face to the person who walks up to her counter next.
I am disappointed and not surprised by this store.
Her names is michelle apparently. This took place in 12/20/24 at about 11am

Texting to receive a discount does not work. Pricing is high. No changing rooms!!

I saw a pair of used Laredo boots priced at $75 !! Those boots go for $40 tops used on Ebay. Another pair of used Sorel Out N About high tops for $50 !! Where are they coming up with the prices for these things. Those two items alone will sit on their shelves forever. For a store that get's their inventory for *FREE* you'd think they'd be slightly more reasonable with pricing.

The register and card reader was being slow and the MOD was so unbelievably rude to the employee (Ozzy) who was literally doing a great job given the circumstances that were completely beyond their control. Toxic and abusive honestly. And in front of us no less, just to embarrass them a little bit extra. That disgusts me to my core.

Goodwill as a business has become unbearably anti-customer. Today’s visit will be my last.
I’ve been shopping at Goodwills for 20 years. The prices in the 2000’s and 2010’s were great and you could try on clothes and return items.
Now the prices are higher than clearance retail and sometimes higher than retail. Finding a deal is nearly impossible as the sorters will pick over every donation to sell online or try to get as much money as they can for the item. Furniture used to be affordable - not any more.
There is no more changing rooms or returns, and the lack of desirable merchandise makes taking a risk on an item worse than retail.
Lines have always been long and staff are undertrained. I don’t like being solicited at the cashier for more money “round up today to put people to work?” As if the profit margin on free items isn’t high enough!
Today my partner picked out a book of maps from the hardcover book section. After waiting 10 minutes for a slow cashier and obnoxious customers, the cashier called for the item to be price checked, even though I told her it was a book of maps which we had found in the books section and had an ISBN. She insisted on having it price checked. At this point I was ready to leave, but my partner wanted to wait, so we waited. After another 5-10 minutes another employee came back with a sticker plastered on the front for $8.99.
Goodwill loves to ruin items with its gummy price tags, and this was the last straw for me. We left.
Corporate policies and greed have completely ruined a great business/charity. It’s a real shame.

This is my first time here at the Roseville Goodwill location, there's plenty of parking, very friendly cashier, about a few parking spots with charging stations? Admittedly I did drive by the entrance and then had to figure out how to turn around because there's no u-turn signs in several places on the street. But that's not the fault of the Goodwill store. Nice clean store, the bathroom was very clean. Nice big stall with handicap railings. I took pictures of the bathroom to help others. So many puzzles at the store! Amazing puzzles. Thank you to everybody who donated. I could only take 50 pictures that Google allows me to take. I thought the prices were great. I got a Ravensburger puzzle 500 piece, for $2.99. That's amazing. I also got a Yankee Candle for $4.99, and a white barn hand soap, for only $2.99. Amazing! I'll definitely be back I used Talk to Text Speech to make this review.

Checked out this Goodwill for the very first time. Staff are so friendly. I had a donation bag that I brought inside thinking that they had a bin inside the doorway like some of them do and noticed they did not. I did not have time to drive around the back to wait in line to drop off my items, the lady at the front cashier was so nice and greeted me, took my items. Overall, i would say that this Goodwill is cleaner than most that I have been to. Will definitely be coming back!
