Har Mar Mall, located in Roseville, Minnesota, is a historic shopping center established in 1963. It is situated in a popular retail area with easy access to downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul via Highway 36. The mall is anchored by well-known stores such as Cub Foods, Burlington, Barnes & Noble, Marshalls, HomeGoods, and Michaels, offering a variety of shopping options. However, reviews indicate that the mall faces some challenges. Many stores inside are closed or secured, making it more like a strip mall than a traditional mall. Visitors find it frustrating that they often have to walk around the outside to access stores, and some suggest improvements like opening security gates on weekends. There have also been concerns about safety, with reports of security personnel following visitors and feeling uncomfortable. Parking is limited, and crossing roads to reach restaurants or other stores can be dangerous, with calls for measures like speed bumps to improve pedestrian safety. Facilities like restrooms are inside the mall, but many store fronts are locked, requiring a long walk to find a restroom. The overall experience is seen as mediocre, with some stores like HomeGoods and Marshalls appreciated for their selection. Visitors enjoy dining at places like Applebee’s, though parking and pedestrian safety remain issues. Despite these concerns, Har Mar Mall holds a special place in the hearts of many, with hopes for future improvements to revitalize its vibrant shopping atmosphere.
Place has really gone down hill over the years. Looks like they just don't care about the building or grounds.

Remember the glory days. They're in the past, just like the memories of this place. Remember when malls were a whole buncha stores that were open and connected from a central point? Remember when HarMar was that? Wow. That was a LONG time ago. Like a decade at least. Hope this place comes back around. Miss ya.

HarMar has a lot of the good stores! I just wish you could access more of them from inside the building.
