Some of the rudest staff I’ve ever dealt with. I go out of my way to shop elsewhere.

Know what you're looking for when you go in and where it is, because good luck finding an employee.

For me, this store is the best. I love crafts. The only bad thing is that there is no good customer service. You ask them for help and they have an unfriendly face and that is really quite uncomfortable. Please be kinder. I know that dealing with some people is not It's easy but don't let other people's bad energy affect you. May God bless you always ???❤️

How many employees and managers does it take to apply a teacher discount? Four! How many minutes? Double that!! How many people lined up behind me in that time? A lot.I would have given 1 star, however, one man made up for the other four people. - Otherwise it would have been the other way around.

I enjoyed buying yarn from here. Wide selection, so many crafts I wish I was rich. The lady behind the register could have been more polite, but other than that one of my favorite places to buy yarn. They also sell these tote bags for 5 bucks when they are like 30 on Amazon.

Have been coming to this location for years. When the Holidays roll around they have such a fun assortment of decor for decorating. Usually have 40% off sales going on most days as well. Lots to look at. Great place to shop for all your crafting needs. Good location close to food and other shops.

SLOWEST LINE at register I've maybeever experienced. Several staff nearby, one with green hair, another with Santa hat, looking like whatever trivial chitchat (tasks they are at least pretending to do to look busy) are WAY more important than the half dozen waiting in line. My feet are sore from standing here for 15 minutes!

I'll start by saying that I generally like Michael's, and their coupons make things quite competitively priced. This time, I was not delighted with the price I paid. I am a school teacher, and I pay for many of my own supplies. I use card stock to make name labels for students' desk & this visit was to acquire a few packages of it. There was a sign at the end of the aisle announcing 50% off Recollections brand card stock packages, so I grabbed 3 and headed for the checkout. I did self-checkout and the items rang up at full price. I called an employee over, and she called to the back of the store to find out if these were on sale. When she received a negative reply, she followed me to the site of the sign. The sign which was there 5 minutes prior was now mysteriously missing. The store employee acted as though she had NO IDEA where the sign could have gone. I need to make signs in the morning, so I bought a small pad of lesser-quality paper. Next time, I will shop the dollar store.

Supervisor at this store, Monday, October 30th. I returned frames that I had bought on Saturday, October 28th. I went for the on-sale items and then the items on clearance were an after thought. I waited for a cashier and checked out that evening. The cashier NEVER mentioned that clearance items are not returnable. Nor did I ever see a sign posted at the clearance section stating this policy.I used my rewards voucher for that purchase, but could not recogonize it in my online search of your website, however, I apparently had it linked to my account.Come to this evening, the manager lurked over the items I had, and proceeded to degrade me as I made this transaction. I mistakenly swapped one receipt for another as I was leaving home tonight. See attached photo, proving the items have a return value.I opened my bags and put these items on the counter, and then I went to check my car for the receipt, but I could not find them.I returned inside and let them know of my error. The manager continued to admonish me for my lack of a receipt. Apparently I am a bad person. I have forgotten my receipt. I even offered to come back another time, but this manager was in no way friendly toward me, she wielded her authority as manager in chief over my head.So I asked how I can return these items, if she can use my rewards account or my credit card? She said either one and proceeded to again raise her power and to reiterate and point to the store policy about the clearance items not being returnable.I asked if she needed my credit card, or what, and she then said no, I have your rewards number.Nothing in this ever emitted gratitude for me as a customer, nor did it exemplify the demeanor of a person working in retail. In the past, I have checked out with an employee who was very afraid of this manager. I am in your store at least monthly. I do projects and have creative pursuits. Finally the manager rang through my returns, shoved my receipt in my hand and did not say anything. Nor did the cashier next to her.I think this manager is toxic, to your business and to the two young women working there. I am in recovery from family dysfunction, and the rules of dysfunctional families are “Don’t talk, don’t trust and don’t feel”. Precisely why the young women said nothing, because the manager is aggressive and I can imagine this is not the first time it’s happened.I am appalled at being belittled, degraded and mistreated by someone in a service role. My business with Michaels is finished, thanks to this horrible experience.
