“Even though there's a Walmart that's close to where I live ( I live in Robbinsdale so the closest is in Brooklyn Center and after that in Brooklyn Park) but I make a special trip to this one in Roseville , because it carries special foods like Organic Black Bean Spaghetti (pictured), pink Himalayan salt, etc. The Black Bean spaghetti is super low carb and super yummy and my favorite! I can buy things here cheaper than at Whole Foods and I love the layout and things are so easy to find. LOVE!”

“They have the best houseplants around! Sure, you could go to a big box store to save a buck, but the quality is SO much better at Leitner’s! Beautiful annuals in the summer, too.”

“LOVE this plant store! They are so knowledgeable and helpful. Not only willing to help me make the best selections for my home, but offering helpful advice for the plants that I already own. An incredibly selection of choices. I already can’t wait to go back.”

“I've been to most, if not all local plant nurseries, in the twin cities. Mother Earth continues to be the one I truly cannot leave empty handed! And it's not because they're pushy (not at all), but because they have such variety. My collection consists of a large percent of their plants, pot, soils, soil additives, pest control sprays, etc. They have fair prices, a large selection, and staff that are sooo helpful with any plant related questions. They also do indoor and outdoor plants which is nice for people that do one, or both! Highly recommend and go regularly.”

“What I assume to be the "main" Bachman's locale, this is the largest store and can cover your plant, garden, gift, and even food needs! Came here during the holiday season, and while it was definitely busy, there's lots of parking and the store is so spacious that it doesn't feel crowded. There are spaces for more gift type items and the garden center gir plants and other items like that. Then there's also a small Cafe with coffee, pastries, and some light food items. So many options for shopping! The biggest downfall is location - getting in and out of the parking lot is not easy. Sign up for the rewards program and get coupons!”

“Noelle and her staff are superb in their service, and their knowledge in all things botanical. A friendly, family-owned business, they celebrated 60 years of business today. They're plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees are high-quality and the best they have to offer. I have been a loyal customer for 8 years. And even though I've moved from the area I will still travel over an hour to shop at their nursery.”

“This place is really great. The selection of pots, planters, and anything to make your plants adorable is here. They really do a fantastic job in stocking anesthetics. This is the only nursery I've seen terracotta planters glazed in cute colors w drainage. The selection of plants in the little green house surpasses most larger nurseries.”

“I have been going to Pletscher's since I was in high school when I bought my boyfriend a boutonniere for prom. My parents always bought all of the perennials and their vegetable plants there because their prices were so great. Whenever I have a problem with something growing in my yard, they always take their time and give me great advice. I love that it is a family owned business and I hope they stay in business forever!!”

“Pure joy! What a wonderful and beautiful place. I stopped by to window shop (I was visiting from out of state so buying plants for a plane ride home wouldn’t have worked well) and I took some of the most beautiful photos and picked up some cards to mail out. If I lived close by I would be there weekly. Stop by if you can!”

“I've gardened for 40 years. These 'I deal garden markers' are the very best I've ever used. I have hundreds of plants and need a dependable company w/good customer service. This company has always delivered their awesome products on time.”

“They always have what I need. This time it was furnace filters and indoor florescent lights, along with service people who refuse to let me buy "wrong." I might pay a tad bit more, but I'm only making one trip, and that's because they make sure I head to the register with the right item. Jim always steers me right and does it with a smile. Been my hardware store since 1989.”

“Very nice Bachman's. Staff is always helpful and while often times an employee or two isn't knowledgeable, they are always able to find someone who is. I wish they had more native plants, trees and shrubs and more plants that are confirmed to be pesticide free. Remember to ask when you buy so you know if your plant is supporting wildlife or unintentionally endangering it.”

“I love this place the owner has been working this for decades and is still wise beyond her years. The plants have always been stronger and more resilient than I have found anywhere else. There is an incredible fairy garden display and merchandise inside.”

“I have a love/hate thing going on with this Home Depot. This has been my main Home Depot shopping location since 1999--15 years. I have a lot of experience at this place. So my credentials are good. I like the fact that this store is never super busy. So it's easy to get in & out. I also know where almost everything is located. Don't make any Special Orders or get any At Home Services unless you want to get screwed up and screwed over. It's also frequently hard to find someone for customer service. And when you DO find them, they don't know anything. On the other hand, there are a few employees who have been here for over 10 years and that are SUPER knowledgeable. I always try to find these people when I have a question. Of course, these are normal people that take breaks and that have days off--so I can't always find them when I really need them. Overall...good with limitations. Come here for what they do best: Buy what's on the shelves, and don't ask any questions or place any orders unless you want headaches. -Daddy Maxx Retro”

“Friendly staff, renting a box truck was easy. Highly suggest taking own pictures as I was handed and told to sign the inspection paper before the associate even went out to fill out, glad we went with damage protection to cover our ? , arrived and noticed inside was a pallet and a box with plastic from previous renters who knows how many before us. Overall easy and the guy was quick and asked if I knew how the deposit and rental worked. Don’t remember his name but it was around noon on the 16th, give him the recognition!”

“Minnehaha Falls Landscaping recently built a lovely 10x12 paver patio in a shady area of our yard. The price was reasonable, and the work was done quickly but with great care and little disruption. We couldn't be happier.”
