I have had a few negative experiences with Sterling in Rushford in the past but always tried to let it go . I personally do not use Sterling Pharmacy but my brother does and I have often dealt with them on his behalf. I have spoken with my brother in the past about switching because of past issues but he always gave them the benefit of the doubt. Today was the final straw though to get him to switch . My brother was not feeling well at all so his dr prescribed a medication to help him feel better because he is feeling lousy. They called it in to Sterling.. I called them to make sure they got the prescription. The pharmacist said she did but had no one to deliver it today. I said that is ok , I am in LaCrosse right now but will be coming to pick it up she said that was fine . I finished my errands quickly and drove to Rushford which is about 30 miles out of my way one way I got there at 4:30 and was informed that they had closed at 4:00 supposedly because of an emergency. So the whole staff leaves because of one person having a supposed issue ?!?! So I will be making another trip right away in the morning to get his prescription. He has now given me the ok to switch pharmacy's for him which I will be doing tomorrow ! This is extremely poor customer service and we will not support Sterling any longer!

My mom is in assisted living and these people are bleeding people dry financially. My mom's prescriptions used to only be a couple hundred a year. We're only 5 months into the year and they've charged us over 2,500. we went over her insurance and they don't AARP RX. we went back to Optum which can deliver meds directly to you home as well.

Been a nurse for 22 yrs and know and knew the importance of taking meds on a daily basis and the contraindications it causes of a missed DOSES and more so on missing DOSES. I have always had good luck and great service via mail and then when last fall I called for a refill it was ten days before sending it but yet it was filled that day I called. I expressed I always go with mail. Then the second month I called and repeatedly expressed importance of meds and was reassured " I will get them out tomorrow".. I waited ten days after calls and more. I talked with a so called pharmacist and he was rude and told me to find another pharmai. Now they don't answer their phone and don't where my meds are. Shame on you all. If ya wanna play Russian roulette..then this is the place to go. See my doctor on Friday and explaining why my meds are off and this situation. Also been calling all-day..no answer. Not a Holiday. Nice ? Speaks volumes!!!

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. John Charles the "Pharmacy Manager" takes no responsibility for his or his employees actions.Calling to check on your prescription status leads to confusion and frustration...from the employees!I will be contacting the corporate office about the interactions.
