Collegeville Orchards, also known as Winkle Lake Barns, is a gem tucked in the hills and woods of St. Joseph. It is a fun place to visit, perfect for a wedding or quick family fun. The cute general store offers lots of varieties of hand-picked apples, pumpkins, honey, caramel, and more. Visitors can enjoy pumpkin painting, picking their own pumpkins from the field, and feeding the animals. There is a pond with koi fish, a hand washing station, and clean facilities. While some note the wagon ride cost is extremely high for a short loop, children love the ride and activity. It is a great place for pictures and a must-do for a fall visit.
Lots of verities of apple that are hand picked. My agency has partnered with them to provide fresh farm apples to the children in our Headstart program. They get to learn about the orchard and where the apples come from.

This is a gem of a place tucked in the hills and woods of St. Joseph. There is a cute general store with pumpkins, apples, honey and more. The kids love the wagon ride through the patch to pick out just the right pumpkins! This is a must-do on my Fall Bucket list!
