My final year working at Kwik Trip — specifically at Store #147 — was the worst professional experience I’ve ever had. The leadership at this store is, in my opinion, unprofessional, disorganized, and unqualified to manage a team.
After raising concerns about inappropriate conduct and requesting not to be assigned tasks that conflicted with a documented medical condition, I experienced an obvious shift in how I was treated. Suddenly, I was consistently given the most physically demanding work, communication turned cold and dismissive, and any previous professionalism disappeared overnight.
Despite reporting the issue through every internal channel — including store, district, and even corporate leadership — nothing changed. I followed every process I was told to, and my concerns were ignored at every level.
In my view, after consulting with counsel, the potential legal violations in this situation include: retaliation, a hostile work environment, constructive discharge, and a failure to accommodate medical needs. These are not claims I make lightly. I chose not to pursue legal action out of respect for the time and energy I had already given the company — but that choice should never have been necessary.
What made things worse was that I had been told I was on track for promotion before transferring to this store. That opportunity vanished the moment I spoke up.
I ultimately resigned because the working conditions became unbearable — and transferring wasn’t even an option due to internal politics involving the same people who were part of the issue.
Bottom line: I would strongly advise others to avoid working at Store #147. Based on my experience, employees are not treated with fairness, professionalism, or basic human decency at this location.

This store is a mess. The deli is always completely out of any condiments. Coolers are never stocked. Going down hill here fast

I love Kwik Trips but I have to say thank you to this one for saving my night and I have never had such ease asking for help with something. It’s not easy and I always do my best for others so receiving kindness in return although unexpected is unexpected! Kudos to the evening manager ( I think) here I bet her staff are well taken care of and as always they always have all you need with impeccable availability and cleanliness!

I avoid this location whenever possible. Which is easy because there's a Kwik Trip in any direction in a mile or two. Reason number one, the car wash is repeatedly broken. So you wait 10 to 15 minutes, get into the wash which is broken, wait for it to finish, go inside to report the issue, and they will give you a code for a free car wash. Which is only good at this location. But the car wash is broken. No option to give a code for a different location so you can get your car washed today. Nope you have to come back another day, hope that the wash is not broken, and get the job done. Reason number two, if you buy anything alcohol and bring it to the counter they will card you. Fine. And the same person will card you on repeated purchases, even if they recognize you. What are you looking for? To which the response was we just need to see your ID. Well. I'm clearly old enough at age 55. And I can go in literally any direction 2 to 3 minutes and buy liquor without showing my ID. I can't help you, this location is a joke. And managers are rated on the success of their location.

This review is for Anne the night food lady!! I came in starving after work 1145pm on June 28th. Well this man just took like all the hot food and I asked there if there was any way should could make me smthing. Well she did and they were the best 2 bacon cheese croissants I've had in forever. I was exhausted had a bad day and starbing, Anne went above and beyond to help me out and feed me some delicious food!! Thank you Anne, you deserve a raise! And most importantly, my bacon was so crisp
