“I moved up here from the Twin Cities. I did a one way U-Haul truck rental and this location was the drop off spot. I arrived in the evening but not that late. There were two trucks in front of me waiting to be checked in. An attendant came over and said just leave the keys in the truck and keep it running. He said it was going to be a while for some reason or another. But, I do not need to be present for the rest of the check-in. This seemed off to me, so I took photos of EVERYTHING inside and out before I left. Good thing I did because there was a surprise $48 fee on the emailed receipt I got later in the week for returning the truck without enough gas (even though I did, and had proof I did thanks to the photo). A quick phone call with the manager, and texting him a photo of the dashboard confirming the gas level was all that was needed and I was refunded of the charge right away. Very pleasant gentleman to talk to as well. Very apologetic. So maybe it was just a one-off mistake by the attendant.”
