Stay away from this place as much as you can. I spent over 20k in purchases in the last year and half and they treated me like nobody. I made a purchase that's about $4500 last week. They told me that my delivery will be on Friday the 10th but if something comes up we will squeeze you in. They came and delivered the order on 2/8/23 but they forgot two important pieces. When I called them and notified that the order was missing two pieces they said we're very sorry will re-deliver today 2/9/23. They have not done that so I had to call them and Blair told me there's nothing we can do before the original deliver date of the 10th. At the time of the purchase I told them that I won't be available after 11:30 AM and they agreed that it'll be way before that. Now I'm finding out that my delivery will be 2/10/23 between 1-3. Very inconvenient!! Blair and Dave are racist as they come. Both Blair and Dave show unapologetic racism and it's sad. They hanged up the phone on me because they said I was yelling. I was frustrated with their lack professionalism. Also soon as you walked in to the office you feel that you don't belong there. I remember one I first ordered furniture for office that employees 10 they kept asking me questions like "how did you get this business? Isn't it hard? Like you feel the doubt right in front of your eyes. I understand they're old and still have that racist mentality from back in the day but it's so sad that they don't care about that.

poor customer service with 0 follow through. I increased my budget to purchase a chair that they recommended for my size and weight. the piston of the chair failed after 2 months. I called and they told me to bring the chair in and they would replace the piston. brought the chair in and when I get there they tell me they have to order the part and it wont be in for 2 weeks. why would they not tell me this when I called? I gave them all of the information for my business, my name and phone number when I bought the chair and they obviously know what chair I bought from their records. I took the chair back home and waited the 2 weeks and no call back. I had to call THEM to find out if it arrived. They replace it and 3 months later it fails again. Had to chase them down to get it replaced AGAIN and it took a month.

Really enjoyed my experience here. My sales person wad t pushy and very knowledgeable. For that reason I made a purchase on the spot. Will definitely come back!

Blair was amazing to work with. He was patient and really knows their inventory. He was able to tell us prices, colors, sizes and styles about everything we inquired about. The store has more options than any store we visited while searching for office furniture.

Had an absolutely awful experience!!! The owner David was extremely rude, condescending and has NO customer service. We ordered furniture in January and patiently waited and waited and waited. When it finally arrived in mid March I was told I had no choices regarding delivery and installation dates or times. Not everyone has a job at home!! David screamed at me and told us the ONLY option was Tuesday or Thursday. We had to take time.off work We were captive.. We work in a hospital hmmmm important?? They had our $5500 from day one!!! Do NOT buy from this store.. Shop Anywhere else!! If I could give 0 stars I would!!

I am former customer. Purchased several office sets few years ago, last one being office table purchased about 4 years ago. Back then place had it all: selection, inventory, support, decent pricing, quick effective delivery and assembly. Today, regretfully, most of it is gone ( except for delivery, as it didn't come to that ). In addition, place refuses to adhere to the law and allow mask exception. As a result, you either have to risk your life or no show room access for you.As much as I hate it, it is time to shop online and else where, site unseen ...Very, very sadI. Not a one star because they do have somewhat decent inventory on hand and in a show room compared to other furniture dealers in TC.

We took delivery ? of 4 large Beautiful maple bookcases with file drawers today and we are thrilled with the Quality and how Classy they are with their crown molding! I'd say my experience with Podany's has been positive all around. I bought a chair from them about 2 years ago now. The sales guy listened to what my needs, wants and budget were and didn't try to over-sell me. I ended up with a nice sturdy chair. Whenever I sit my my wife's office Depot chair I'm reminded how much better the quality of mine is. However, a couple months ago my chair started dropping randomly. So I brought it in. Without hesitation or question they replaced the cylinder/strut/piston...whatever you call it. The problem persisted. I brought it back again and instead of moaning that I was back wasting their time trying to fix one of their cheaper chairs they went to work fixing it again without hesitation. Eventually they replaced the strut and the base mechanism and so far it's been working just fine. You probably wouldn't get that level of support from a big box store 2 years after the purchase.

Skip OfficeMax/Depot for office supplies, this is where you need to go for chairs, desks, etc. Great staff who are very helpful and knowledgeable. I got a new ergonomic desk chair there today. Love it! Plus, a great price!

I've passed by Podany's for years and never given them much thought until I needed a standing desk and I couldn't find them anywhere else in the Twin Cities due to Covid19 / Quarantine. I went into the showroom and worked with a sales person to determine which standing desk would be ideal for me. The sales and pickup process was relatively easy and I was able to bring my desk home fully assembled and working which is so nice because I hate assembling office furniture. The only thing I found unprofessional was when I handed the sales person the $100 off coupon I had printed out from their website. Theytook $100 off the total with the tax included and the receipt shows I paid full price for the item. This is problematic for a couple of reasons. 1. I paid MN Sales Tax on $700 not $600 and 2. because the invoice does not show the discount with the discounted price but instead it shows the full price, if I needed to return the desk or for taxes purposes, the amount isn't correct. Both of these scenarios work to my advantage but that's not the point. It makes me a little nervous because if they mishandle something like receipts and sales tax, what else are they mishandling? Maybe it's just a clerical error / oversight but I want to share my entire thoughts on my experience with Podany's.Would I return? I probably would. So far it's been a positive experience overall.
