I thought I left a review but didn't so will do now. This place isn't what it used to be. My last experience here wasn't very pleasant. I believe this was last December or Jan. This was my go-to spot for parts. I don't know if it was the manager or one of the workers. I bought an item for 20 something dollars. As I was entering my phone number as a "speedperks member". I was told "no need to" without explanation. I asked him why is that and he said cause it won't be worth it based on what you spent. I appreciate his honesty and didn't think much at that time, but it felt off. As a customer, being refused to earn points was ridiculous! I later went online to check my rewards account to verify points. You can earn 10 points per dollar! That's ALOT! Every penny counted. I felt robbed. I tried to add my receipt to my rewards account, but that didn't even work! I haven't gone back since. However, I might give them another shot and hopefully, this time is different.

I called to make sure if i bought a battery there, they'd install it. They said yes, so I ordered one. When I went to pick it up, I was then told they do not install batteries. I had already paid to have my car jumped once, and proceeded to have to have some one come back to jump my car again. I had turned it off when I arrived and it would not turn back on. On top of that, I have to pay labor somewhere else to have the battery installed. NEVER AGAIN.

Attn Mgr, Russ didn't leave a positive review. He said that we shouldn't trust your inventory system & that you need to fix it. He was lucky that day.

The advance Auto parts on Rice Street The staff are always friendly they got good customer service skills and their patient and they're like the same people you live next door to and advance Auto parts prices are much better than AutoZone and they always have what I need when you shop online you get a discount.

This is a pretty good parts store, friendly counter staff. But you really need to get your computer inventory straightened out. If I look up a part on line and it says you have it in stock,you should have it. Fortunately it was a part where there were different qualities at different prices and I was able to walk away with what I needed and I'll be back on the road today.

This location is horrible I spent 200 sum dollars on a battery they couldnāt even help assist me with puttting it in. The manager was very rude and sent an employee out to change my battery and he didnāt know what he was doing he was talking about programming a battery to my car which made 0 sense then he didnāt even screw my battery on all the way which was dangerous cause I had two babies in the back seat. I called the location in Maplewood and they made sure they put my battery in with no issue and fast service the only thing rice street location is good for is selling part but the employees are very lazy. Iām thankful for the guy that came out and tried to help me but he really didnāt know what he was doing and his manager wouldnāt even come out to help him.
