One week ago I had my screen replaced by a tech at batteries plus west Saint Paul. I had no issues with the phone besides the shattered screen it was working perfectly fine. After the screen was replaced, my phone started to shut down, crash, disconnect from Bluetooth devices, and the ear speaker stopped working multiple times a day for a week straight. On Friday, I called and asked if I needed to make an appointment to bring the phone back in to have them fix their mistake and they told me I could bring it in first thing Saturday morning. I arrived to the store today at 9:30 am, thirty minutes after they opened and the store closed. I called another location and was told the worker must not have shown up to work and someone could be there to open in 30 minutes. I didn’t have time to wait so brought it back in the afternoon and explained the issue. I got a call on my partner’s phone an hour later from the tech asking for my phone password to test the screen, providing him with that and then didn’t hear anything for almost 3 more hours. I called back and was told “there’s nothing wrong with this phone so I don’t need to take it apart” and re-stated what I told him initially. He said he “hadn’t had a chance to look at the phone yet today” despite putting in the phone password over 3 hours prior. I asked to speak to a manager, he declined. I asked for a refund and he said he would need to re-install my shattered screen and that would take another two hours. I will never be recommending this company to anyone and im praying this incompetent technician didn’t permanently break my phone.

I went to this location to get a spare key made/programmed for my 2010 Honda fit - a very straight forward thing. The woman performing the programming only completed the initial step for the lock/unlock function (and not the start integration) but said it was done. I started the vehicle with the new key and the engine promptly cut out and showed a green 'key' dashlight. Went back into the store and the other male employee attempted to help but the female employee became defensive and berating to her coworker in front of me. Ultimately the male worker got the programming done but when I went to leave the check engine light was on (it was not on prior). Neither employee had heard of this being an issue caused by impropper key programming and blamed it on something other than their interventions. I rolled over to the Honda dealer and they quickly reset the light and stated this is a common and well known occurrence (that of the check engine light) with impropper programming and they see it a lot from Batteries Plus. Additionally, I had special ordered the key from Woodbury location. When I picked up the key I was informed that their key cutter was broken and I was told to go over to the West St. Paul location with no apology or offer of a partial refund for the 50 minutes of driving I would need to take. While I fully understand things happen with equipment there was defensiveness of 'fault' versus understanding and taking 'responsability'. I've been a long time purchaser at Batteries Plus but that now stops. If you want to blow an entire day for a single key, this is the place to go.

Well, my one star follows others as an employee is trying to gaslight me into a different version of reality. It seems as though they try and cover their asses more than they bring customer service a month without a phone that was only supposed to be a fixed screen I’m told there’s a software issue that never existed prior to the phone being brought in and now that an employee is trying to gaslight me that only points me to something else that happened. Gaslighting typically means that set employee broke the phone, and I was trying to find a way out of it. I’m documenting it all and will probably make a claim with the insurance company and make them feel the fire instead of just looking at reviews that don’t make them change their ways.

Worst place ever. My boyfriend wanted to go get his screen fixed front and back. They deleted everything off his phone. It was almost a 2 day thing. Unacceptable. Did things to the phone without letting him know first. Wanted him to pay full price. Don’t recommend. Don’t waste your time

Took my iphone in for screen repair after CPR Woodbury was unable to successfully complete it. Was told I would need to replace the phone, spoke to my phone carrier and was advised to try Batteries plus. Absolutely no issues with repair whatsoever. Thanks fellas!

I went to Batteries Plus to repair screen on my iPhone. They tried to return it without the cover, soon after, the screen cracked again. Upon further Inspection, this was not My phone, instead, one that had my sim card in it, with all my info loaded on it. They swapped my phone for another and just hoped I didn't notice. Why would I think that they wouldn't return the phone I had brought in?
PLEASE BEWARE of this service.

Tried to buy a specific battery that showed was in stock online. The teenager working tried to upsell me on a battery that cost three times or more the price that was essentially a rebranded version of the battery I came in for. I asked him to find the battery that I specifically asked for with the identical brand that showed as being in stock. He told me he couldn’t sell it to me because I didn’t have a business account and then told me he couldn’t sell it to me because I wouldn’t share my use case for it. Batteries plus is basically a fraudulent company. They hey count on people not understanding what they’re shopping for and take advantage of it to sell products at a higher margin rather than actually taking care of their clientele.

I went there to get my screen fixed n they broke my phone. Prior to me bringing my phone in I was using my broken phone and answering calls with my headphones and charging it. Then personally, I don’t recommend this place to anybody. When I brought my phone back in, they try to lie to me and tell me that it was broken when I brought it in, but that’s not true, my phone was working before I brought it. Mind you I have brought in an iPhone X to get the screen fixed as well and they told me right away that I couldn’t fix because of the battery. So if I could give it zero stars, I would I don’t recommend this place to anybody so please save yourself some time and money and go else
