*update* the manager came up and gave us the night free, and apologized for the actions and inconvenience of Courtney. She was very sweet and polite - we appreciate that so much and definitely made our entire stay better. Sadly I did not get her name!!
I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at this hotel. When my colleague attempted to check in, the front desk staff member, Courtney, was shockingly rude and unprofessional.
First, Courtney claimed there was no reservation under my colleague’s name. When I came down to assist, instead of resolving the issue, he made dismissive and condescending remarks, suggesting that we "didn’t have our business together." In reality, the reservation *was* in the system—he simply failed to locate it. Once I provided my name, he miraculously found it under my colleague’s name but still shifted the blame onto us, lecturing us on our "attitudes."
This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable, especially from a hotel that claims to prioritize guest experience. The way we were treated was not just poor service—it was outright disrespectful. I have documented evidence of Courtney’s behavior and will be escalating this issue.
I will *never* be staying here again, and I strongly urge management to reconsider their staffing choices. If this is the standard of service they accept, I suggest looking elsewhere for accommodations.

I would highly suggest looking at alternative hotels. This hotel REEKED of weed in the elevators, staircase, hallways, everywhere. We were traveling with children and this is unacceptable for a hotel. Not a family friendly hotel for this reason. Maybe this is normal for MN hotels, but we were traveling from out of state and have never experienced this at any hotel or Air BNB before.
The actual room was run down- the tub had paint peeling and the cleanliness was not up to par of other hotels. We were extremely disappointed with our stay.
The only positive thing I can say is that the staff was very nice and the location is convenient to downtown St. Paul if you don’t want to actually stay downtown.
Highly recommend staying somewhere else unless you want to smell weed during your entire stay with your family.

Waited 2 hours for food at inside restaurant. Plus we stayed for 2 nights and our keys didn't work on the second night. Front door out of order for one day.

Place has gone downhill since we stayed here last. The evening agent at the front desk needs to learn the meaning of customer service and also work on his communication skills. He was absolutely crabby when we checked in.
When we came back from our event, we noticed that the room wreaked of cigarette smoke. So we requested to be move to a different room/floor. He kind of had a tone. And we asked if the water and snacks are complementary for which he nodded. And then he proceeded to ask me for money for the candy.
We couldn’t sleep because of the constant noise in the hallway and the super loud fridge. It was also ridiculously hot in the room though we adjusted the temp. There was hair on some of the pillows and also the soap/shampoo.
Complementary breakfast was a joke. The hash browns were hard as a rock and super salty. French toast sticks were hard to bite into. Eggs were a pile of mush. Only saving grace was the mini blueberry muffins. The apple juice was like sparkling water. Just overall disappointing for a radisson and we will not return in the future.

We stayed for one night for an event in the area. Everyone was very nice and the room was very clean. Probably one of the best stays I have had at a hotel. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The woman working breakfast (seating and getting drinks) 12/7/24 between 7:30-8am was the best. She was so friendly, helpful, and attentive. She is a great asset to Radisson.

Great location. Super courteous desk staff. Large spotless room. Great mattress, bedding, and pillows. Good blackout curtains. Breakfast was very nice. Star of the show was Vivian who worked in the breakfast area (11/20/24) and was just as delightful as could be.

Absolutely disgusting. Aside from taking almost 15 min to get anyone to notice us the room was filthy Can't believe they wouldn't check their rooms. Beds slept in. Poop in the toilet. Dirty towels on the floor. Tag clippings all over. Garbage in the toilet and around the room. Hair in the sink... Wouldn't recommend. Spent the extra money to be next to where our concert was .. definitely was expecting a better experience. Pictures deceiving. Front desk guy and maintenance lady were nice on an upside...

The place needs some major renovations but is clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We couldn’t sleep due to the constant noises in the hallway and the heat. We were told the AC was off for the season but they did offer us a fan. It didn’t help. Breakfast was gone by 9:15am and there were about 20 of us scrounging around for some yogurt bagels or sausages. I personally wouldn’t stay there again but not because of the staff. They were great.

Great experience. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, room was clean, breakfast was hot and so was the coffee! Had a shuttle to and from Xcel. Both front desk attendants that we experienced checking in and checking out went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We will be back.

Would've given 5 stars but the door to our room was a challenge to get in and out of because it stuck.

Quite Hotel stayed 2 nights
We had to move rooms the first night because the A/C was not working in our room. The second room was not much better. Day 2 we were told that lighting took out the A/C unit a couple weeks prior to us arriving. I would have been nice to know when I forst arrived. The lobby had A/C🤔.

Nice hotel in a bad area. Homeless people everywhere and gang writing right down the street. Did not feel safe at all. The property had to be fenced in, but still didn’t feel safe. The check in took forever because the person in front of us couldn’t find a credit card that worked. We had to wait almost 20 minutes. Our check in took about 1 minute. It would have been nice if they asked her to step aside so they could check us in while she was on the phone with her bank.
Our room was a little small but clean. The air condition didn’t work very well and kept blowing in the stench of marijuana. It was horrible and aggravated my asthma terribly. I told the front desk and they said they would take care of it. Every 45 mins to an hour, the smell kept coming back… all night and morning.
The Restaurant/Bar is pretty good and although fairly small, the free breakfast was pretty good.
Stay at your own risk!
