I’ve been going here for years. The proprietor, Dave, knows his stuff and doesn’t sell any wine he hasn’t tried. So, you get great wine at any price. No pretension, just appreciation and loyalty as you will go back again and again

Bright Wines is the sort of store that every specialty store could be but so few are. The store itself is simply and efficiently organized with few frills. At first glance, it may seem drab but that feeling will surely pass after a few moments in the company of the gregarious and extremely knowledgeable proprietor, Dave. Dave seems to know more about wine than any one person should. He's a sommelier, salesman and shopkeeper rolled into one. Not only does Dave know all about wine, he buys it carefully and passes the savings along to his customers. If you like wine, you will love Bright Wines!

Have been a customer for many years, Dave is very knowledgeable about all things wine and a incredible memory for customer preferences. Keep an open mind as this is a small shop that won't likely have all the big name wines but what is there is well worth exploring. Dave will match your taste preferences with a couple recommendations. While we no longer live in the Twin Cities we still make a stop (or two) each time we are in town.
