If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. You’d think the carpenter credit union would be for their workers but they’re not. Just very dirty business work. Thought this would be a great place to get my first car loan from, especially being a union worker myself. But I regret ever even thinking of using this place.

I discovered a vulnerability in several of their security certificates, upon making them aware I used them as a secondary bank. After this they decided to close my account without any warning. The banker I had talked with about this was extremely unprofessional. Highly recommend avoiding this place if you can.

When depositing a check they are requiring a 7 day hold.. I asked if this was due to fraud specific to my account. The teller said no it’s policy across the board. The check was from Wilson Mckshane, which is literally 2 doors down. This is a huge inconvenience. Maybe use some discretion with certain customers instead of treating everyone like second class citizens.

The app sucks, changing your password is a task in itself. However, the tellers have always been friendly.

Went there to get a debt card but in order to get it they were trying to tell me I needed to give them so one else’s social security card number in order to get one.Never had to deal with such craziness. The teller was super rude too! Hate going here. I told the lady I did not want to give my money to anyone if I died, but still demanded me to fill out Someone’s social!

ZERO STARS:Terrible experience from the start. The "loan officer" Colleen was rude, unorganized, and incompetent. Her lack of professionalism really shows with the miss spelling of words and lack of formatting. Don't try calling during office hours because no one will be there. Called multiple times at 3:30pm and got the after hours voicemail. Don't try to fax anything in because "we don't have a fax machine" or "our fax machine is down" not really sure which because she claimed both.

What an AWFUL EXPERIENCE! Colleen was supposedly the loan officer and then told me she was their branch manager and refused to let me speak to anyone! She refused to send me to a voice-mail as well. All we want is to pay off our loan and they said they don't type up letters on letterhead. Then after our call they shut their phones off and had them go to "after hours" at 3:40pm!! This is the worst service I've ever had with a CU.MEMBER BEWARE!!

Worst attitude from any business ever, Colleen and Ariel WILL NOT let me get in contact with their branch manager or their supervisor. I’m a union worker who has his vacation fund sent to a checking account of theirs with no other option, an auto loan through them and I’m being treated like some kind of burden. If you are management please contact me. If you are in the carpenters union call your hall and tell them to break ties with this horrible organization.

The Credit Union continues to get worse. The last two years have been awful. It is now to the point where I cannot call in and do business. Is there anyway other North Central Union Members can get together to say enough is enough? We should have an option of taking vacation money elsewhere or have the Chief Operating person removed.

What a horrible place. The unions have the power to put their vacation fund elsewhere, even on the check. Go to your hall and demand a different option IMMEDIATELY!!!
