“Great tennis facility and we recommend for youth tennis. Our boys have improved their tennis game thanks to Fred wells. We also appreciate how they bring Tennis to urban youth. Our only wish is that it was closer to the western side of the metro, but it is worth the drive for us!”

What stood out to me was the attention to detail—there were even personal care items available for those who might need them. The staff, many of whom are volunteers, were incredibly kind and eager to assist with any needs, making the experience feel very personal and supportive.
Whether you’re waiting for a flight or just passing through, the center provides a peaceful respite from the bustling airport environment. It’s clear that the Armed Forces Service Center is more than just a lounge; it’s a heartfelt gesture of gratitude and support for those who serve. “When I was younger, about 24 years ago, I used to go to this church to eat dinner. My family was not well off and this helped us a lot. My mom had 5 children at the time(6 now). But I will never forget how grateful we were for this church. I will also never forget about this elderly man who taught me how to whistle through my hands by cupping my hands together. Thank you for being there for my family. I am forever grateful! ♥️♥️”

“Was cleaning out old engineering and Safety books after retiring. Didnt want to throw them out as there was still a lot of good information there. Was told that Books for Africa took them and shipped them over to Africa by the container. For example they have sent 400 containers to EthiopiaThey ask for a 50 cent donation per book to help cover the cost of shipping but I was so happy to have the books put to good use I gave more.Great charity!”
