Thank-you for the coolers and heated water bowl for the stray cats I take care of. They'll be warm this winter

I’ve visited Feline Rescue since 2007. My friend volunteered for 8 years. Seeing the cats available for adoption was fairly easy. You could tell the cat personality, what the cat was prioritizing, dietary and health accommodations, social tendencies, bush dweller or tree dweller , etc. At the moment, it seems like they’ve limited hours to 4 hours most days, and stopped walk in visits unless the visit is by appointment. When I have dropped by, it’s been hard solicitations by the volunteers…” please take this cat home…”
Matching a new cat with a forever home takes time and tends to take in-person observation and 1:1 meet and greets. This takes time and effort from both the “walk in’s” and the cats…Digital postings might be ok for some cats and people, but I’d prefer to meet a new family member in person, even if it’s behind a glass window or a door. Maybe start video streaming the cats on your website?

I am 2+ years late in writing this; just want to say Feline Rescue was phenomenal to work with in adopting our sweet littermates in 2022. We set out to adopt one kitten (we had two senior cats at the time) and we really appreciated the fact that Feline Rescue would allow us to do that.Of course, when we found out the baby we wanted had a brother needing a home too, we adopted them both. Lol. They are so different from each other, and both delightful! We feel lucky and grateful. The staff person and the foster parent we worked with were both terrific.

I have left messages and received absolutely no response when trying to help my 98 year old friend . He has feral cats that have been left off on his property. Needed help with 2 pregnant ones.

I don't think it is possible to say enough wonderful things about Feline Rescue, and the compassionate, considerate staff who make this organization possible. I had such a phenomenal experience from the first moment I reached out, and would highly recommend this rescue to anyone looking to open their home (and their heart) to an adorable cat or kitten.

Feline rescue is a wonderful shelter. I have been volunteering for two years. They are really invested in, taking the very best care of the cats, and ensuring that they go to caring homes. The staff are very thorough and thoughtful, a great place to get a kitty and two support.
