I am a current resident of Fox Ridge Estates and have resided here for just over a decade now. I honestly enjoy living here.
The neighborhood is very quiet and nearby a lot of necessities that are either within walking distance or accessible through public transportation. That includes groceries, shopping, medical facilities, restaurants, etc… I love the fact all this is close by and decreasing the likelihood that I have to venture very far for all my needs. Even with the economy and inflation concerns, I find that Fox Ridge Estates is still the most economical offering within this much proximity to the Twin Cities in comparison to Eagan as well as the airport. It’s a convenient location too and not far from my employer, which works out rather well for me.
It’s a pretty cozy one-bedroom, one bathroom apartment unit that I rent: more than enough space for me. Plus management does make an effort to keep appliances and amenities updated, which is always appreciated. The grounds are well maintained too and kept pretty clean regularly.
Speaking of the management, I like them too as they’re pretty friendly and amenable. I’m always comfortable reaching out to Angie, the apartment manager, for any questions or maintenance concerns I have. Anytime I’ve had an issue or complication involving my apartment unit, she along with maintenance staff have always been rather quick to address it right away: even in the middle of the night. (That was a lifesaver earlier this summer for example when my a/c unit died during a heatwave!)
I definitely recommend living here.

The complex is older, but has been comfortable for my family. The location is great, schools are as well, and it has always felt safe. Most neighbors are friendly and can be very helpful. The nights are usually pretty quiet.

I have lived here for more than 10 years, it’s quite, peaceful, and very safe area, close to the twin cities mall and surrounding walking distance shops too. Management is very helpful, maintenance responds faster, apartment are clean and very secure.

Honest reviews come from people who have resided in this place because they had real experience living there. I will not recommend even a pet to live there.
The policies are just a joke. No smoking and no car services on the properties means some can and some cannot do so as everyday car repair is the real routine in the parking lot and smoking near and indoors. The only PRIORITY from the failed management is printing notices and knocking at the doors almost daily with "we are going to have water shut off for ABCD and XX hours."
Office do not pick calls, and they return your calls at will. Their so called corporate is just another accomplice (if u ask the management for the corporate number, they will give u but they notify the so-called corporate ahead of you just incase).
This year I had to research and compare other property owners and was not surprised that they have NEVER heard or had a policy called "Material Violation" as Fox Ridge purports.(and if any, is it a coincidence that it comes just about the time you notify them you are not extending the lease?)
Maintenance is just at will, and everything from the main entrance knobs to the bedroom door knobs are loose. I don't remember how many times I got locked out just because they changed the entrance key cylinders without notifying residents. "Come pick a different key if that does not work" they will say if you call to report the missup.
They claim that the carpet and everything in the apt should be as it were at the time of signing in and yet you have lived there 2 or 3 years(to them wear and tear is off the window)

This place truly needs better management. The person that is the manager at Fox Ridge Estate needs to be let go because she's spreads lies. More than that she is not a professional person. When someone moves out and looks for a different apartment she should just mention that the person or family used to live at Fox Ridge Estates not bring up any other details especially if it hasn't been proven to be true. I'd rather not give this place any stars because they do not deserve it. Once again this complex needs new management that knows what they are doing.

Black mold in my windows, and carpets never got changed. My family and I had multiple health issues while living there that seemed to have diminished after moving out. They overcharge, and even up the prices of the garages but they’re always broken. I wish I could give this 0 star rating. Management was never around the office was always closed and would take many days to respond to messages. Maintenance would come into my apartment to fix things I reported over a year ago (unannounced) to come home to a letter that they were in my apartment and left all my lights on the the apartment. I once had my car towed despite having my parking pass up, called the towing company and they didn’t have it so I reported it stolen and found it in a completely different part of the parking lot I have never parked in, parked crooked and taking up 2 spots (I think they towed it and brought it back without telling me and denied it). My pool key didn’t work for a year only to find out I needed to get a new key cause the one I was given was “worn down”. Security doors broken or left open. Renters would add their own cameras to the front door, but no cameras were ever added by management despite multiple packages being stolen. Left a grill out overnight in the back of my building and it was taken the next day by either management or another renter, but bikes and toys would be left out for days. I wish I would have taken pictures of my windows because it was absolutely disgusting and they would never do anything for me just told me I need to wipe it down with bleach wipes!!!!!! We had multiple issues with adult cockroaches and carpet bugs that they’d send bug guys in for but it would never help. So happy I no longer live there and give them my money, such a waste!!! Avoid this place completely never ever move here!

My parents have lived down the block for 3 decades from this wash. I’ve washed everything from bicycles, cars, trucks and even a pair of boots or 2. Went today on the way to help my parents get ready for Sturgis. We pull up 1 bay is down no problem. We pulled into the next avoiding tools hanging into the car path. I put 50 cents in no go pump 50 more cents in no go. I ask a random person in the bay next to me if there is a minimum charge for the self serve. He says yes 2 bucks. I was just trying spray my car off quick not scrub an wash the whole thing. Waste of time we just left! Put up signs in location to inform customers of price or lower it to the standard of every other self serve in the area. Seems like a con unless ur trying to spend that much time at this place. Plus the pot holes in the lot are crazy big!!! If they don’t ruin ur rim you will bottom your car. My dad laughed an said don’t go there because he’s had to many problems too.

this place isn’t great. they're always sending out letters for maintenance and it never gets done. they recently fumigated the place for cockroaches and it failed. save yourself some time and look elsewhere. it gets more expensive every year and they’re now charging Monthly pet fees and the worst part is nothing is improving, its the same place when i first moved in and yet i have to pay more and more for the same place. they will nickel and dime you for everything and Take a year to get stuff done. There’s better apartments and town homes around this area, please continue to look around and dodge this place like the plague.

Management is hardly ever around when you need them. The buildings are dumps. They send out complaint letters all the time. Don't move in to this complex

Apartments themselves are decent. They are nice and roomy. Most of the people in the office are very very sweet, but when it came to getting stuff done it was almost nonexistent. I asked for a new floor in my kitchen and also new cabinets, lived there for three years I never got them. They really do bully front first floor, they hold you to the curbside appeal aspect, but people on second and third floor will have their porches completely covered in stuff. (& the back sides of the buildings look like alley ways. Dirty. Unorganized.) Very rarely answer the office phone. There were a handle full of times they would put a note in my door saying they were coming to do things & never showed up. I never had a garage myself, but made friends with one of my neighbors who did have a garage, and if she didn’t close and lock it every time she came and went and they would lock it for her, like why?. In the winter they don’t plow guest parking, so everyone has a squish on the side street by the swim school or over by the park. With better management I think it could be a great place. But I would not advise anyone to live here now unless you want constant frustration. & that’s just the main things.
