We stayed here when we went to a concert at the Xcel Center. It was very convenient, clean, safe, and easy to get to.

I had a fine experience. It's a hotel, I don't expect it to be like home. Valer is pricy though - 36 a night.

The hotel is in a really great location. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Also, really want to shout out to the staff. I left some vinyl records in my room when I checked out and they shipped them back very quickly! Thank you for the excellent service!!
Walkability: Restaurants and bars are very close by
Food and drinks: Many good restaurants and cuisines to choose from

Unbeatable location for the Xcel center! We've been here a couple times for concerts and highly recommend. Also noteworthy: the Cosetta's Italian food complex including a lovely dinner at Louies - across the street from the hotel. Hotel staff is great, excellent service!

We enjoyed our stay and free breakfast in the morning. Great location downtown. Exterior doors get locked down at night and you can't access the elevator or room flores without room key. Guest rooms seemed clean and updated.

The location is good for food, bars and you are planning at attending an event at the Excel Center. Know that there is no self parking, valet only and minimal charge is $35. There are options that you need to look for outside of the hotel. The room was nice and clean. There is a small fridge and a coffee machine in the room, lobby has coffee throughout the day. Breakfast is provided, it’s free, nothing really special but choices from hot to cold. My only complaint was the desk staff, the people at the top of this hotel get degrees in “hospitality” and they need to teach the staff, they are not doing me a favor checking me in. They are not doing me a favor answering general questions. Pleasant is not in their job description, I’m just assuming.
Walkability: Really nice walking area around the hotel. Walk down to the river, St Paul Cathedral and the Capitol. Take the train to Minneapolis.
Food and drinks: Great breweries in the area.
Noteworthy details: Try the street parking, you can get by at $3 per day vs the $35 the hotel charges.

Stayed here for a night. Jean made sure that my stay was comfortable and I got the best possible room within my booking limits. Got a great view of the river.

Beautiful clean hotel in an excellent location, brought down by horrible front desk customer service. They must really hate their jobs because they don't greet anybody and actually look bothered that you are talking to them or asking them a question. They should replace the front desk team with AI. The service staff, especially the breakfast team are excellent. Valet is horrible too. They bring you the wrong car when you give them ticket. The rooms are quiet, even though it was downtown. This is not for business, as they lack a basic iron and ironing board.
Rooms: Clean comfortable room.
Nearby activities: Everything is nearby
Walkability: Very walkable
Food and drinks: Lots of eateries on the main drag

I checked in on August 1, 2024. There was no one at the front desk to greet us and to check us in. After a few minutes, I had to get the valet parking attendant to go search for the individual who should have been sitting at the front desk. When she finally came out, she had an attitude as if we were bothering her. She was not friendly at all! Did not say hello and my husband, and I felt unwelcomed.
While checking us in, she said I owed $150 which I was confused as I paid in full previous to my arrival. Apparently, she failed to say it's a hold on my credit card for incidentals. She proceeded to hand me cards and said nothing else. I had to ask if I was all set and open the card to see what room number I had. Very unprofessional!
The room layout was weird and didn't feel cozy. We had a king size bed with standard size pillows. The AC made a rattling sound. I would have left but we paid in full, and it was nonrefundable. Plus, we were exhausted as we just drove 20 hrs from CT to Minnesota as we were moving our daughter just down the street from the hotel.
Breakfast was ok. I definitely had better options at other hotels.
I gave 2 stars because it was clean and the cleaning lady who managed the breakfast area was very nice and made sure everything was in order.
Needless to say, when I visit my daughter, I will not be staying here again and will try other hotels in the area.

If you need to be in Saint Paul the location is very good, right downtown with good restaurant choices. Friendly staff, clean rooms and a good value.

Very nice, the Breakfeast is loaded with goods and the pool is nice, you do have to pay $35 for valet a night!
