We booked our appointment online and had received multiple confirmations from H&R Block. When we arrived on site we watched as the last person locked up the doors for the day and the sign on the door said closed at 6pm. Please fix your hours online so you can’t book outside of your business hours.

I’ve waited a month to write this post to make sure it wasn’t an emotional response to the very unprofessional way I was treated.
I have used the same tax accountant professional for most of my life.
The first time I walked in to the office there was no one at the desk and a tv show (on a computer) was playing loudly in the background. Someone finally came up and directed me to the appointment I had made.
My tax “expert” was very dismissive of anything I had to say. Especially donations I had made as write offs. Her emails were grammatically incorrect and made me feel insecure.
The final straw for me was receiving an email telling me to finalize my taxes as if they were done. I had emailed at least twice about the status of my taxes. This place is the absolute worst business model I have ever seen. I will not be back and I hope you won’t either.

I was new to this company, but had an unusual tax situation, so I needed help. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly everyone was here, and my tax expert Rochelle knocked it out of the park! :) She was so quick, knowledgeable, and savvy; she had me out of there very quickly with a shockingly large refund! It was a really wonderful experience. :)

They Overcharged you here!!!! multiple mistakes were made. I was not at all being heard, and once a “favorite client came in” The employee began to rush filing my taxes so that other client wouldn’t wait too long, also reasons to why multiple mistakes were made which lead my refund to be rejected in the first place. Not to mention the disrespectful comments that were made and definitely uncalled for. Terrible experience with Dale will not be coming back!

I recommend avoiding this office. The person who did our taxes seemed barely capable. We only chose to visit an “expert” because when we started online, we had a huge tax bill so we decided we should talk to someone. Dozens of typos, which I painstakingly pointed out as he completed each page. Our documents were available since we’d uploaded them, which he acknowledged but didn’t know how to retrieve them.Worst of all, when he “confirmed” the taxes owed and we asked what our deferral options were, do we have any options to pay over time or later in the year, his actual out loud response was, “No. Unless YOU want to call the IRS, wait on hold for hours, and ask, but even then they will likely say no.”Later we called H&R Block and tried to explain and ask for help—because you can in fact pay later and he should have helped us with that—but were told it was too late.Not a single person at H&R Block was helpful to us; all we wanted was to pay our tax bill in August. They charged us $250 for the pleasure of their ineptitude and rudeness.
