Love going to Mick's Bottle shop. The selection is fantastic. Especially now that they are stocking the Du Nord Gin I asked for.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Stop in today and check them out.

Used to come near weekly to get tailored clothes for court and my bottle of fine whiskey. Yelled at about some parking space because white people never realize who their regulars are unless they’re white, while dropping my suit off into my car to pick my weekly bottle up. Now I just pick my tailoring up. 😌

excellent and well run neighborhood liquor store. They have a great selection of beer, THC, wine, liquor, and they even have fun video games that you can play old arcade style! Also props for not adding a 3% credit card surcharge to purchases. Thank you!

I absolutely love it here!!! It doesn’t feel like a stuffy, dark liquor store! More like a boutique feel! It has a great vibe and they have my favorite wine, Cakebread

We hosted a backyard celebration for sixty guests, and Mick’s Bottle Shop was outstanding from start to finish. Mick and Matt helped us select an excellent range of wines and beers—reasonably priced and crowd-pleasing. Everything was delivered cold and exactly on time, which made setup a breeze. They even took back the unopened bottles we didn’t use. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and gracious. Their service took a huge load off our shoulders and let us focus on enjoying the event. Highly recommend Mick’s for any gathering—professional, thoughtful, and easy to work with. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic bottle Shop. Mick and the crew here are wonderful. Amazingly well-curated selection of wine, spirits, ciders, and beers — domestic and international.
It's worth the drive! Sours? Yep. Geuze? Yep. That hottest new drop from local breweries? Also yep.
I'm moving my beer purchases here, because I know Mick has a great shop and a strong relationship with both the distributors and the brewers.

Granted Mick's bottle shop is close to home but the owners live in the area and always make sure to check in with you about what you are looking for. Prices are also reasonable.

Please inquire with the lovely bartending specialists, Suzanne and Tina on how to make a cocktail of your choice at your party and they will help you pick the absolute right things to make it a fun one.
The collection is truly quite remarkable to begin with, including all kinds of liqueurs and cannabis drinks as well.
Cute neon sign and ample parking to take drinks with you!
Go enjoy!

Simply put, industry veterans open the best liquor store in the area. Highly curated beer, wine, and spirits but without the attitude that often comes with that level of expertise. This is not the place where a cashier is going to look askew at you when you drop a thirty rack of Hamms on the counter. Particular shoutout to an absolutely amazing selection of obscure liqueurs, with staff on hand with the knowledge to lead you towards your next amaro or chartreuse alternative.

Two separate employees wearing headphones actively ignored me trying to ask for assistance.
When I found my would-be purchases on my own the cashier snapped at me for having a valid and temporary photo ID while I waited for an updated license in the mail as I had just moved. He said he can't accept papers although the state has no such laws. I have zero restrictions on my license or ability to purchase alcohol, and have myself worked at a liquor store for several years prior.
He cut me off telling me it would be best I leave before I even had a chance to say that I could grab my passport from the car, implying that I was lying about my age.
For the record I am 34 which isn't really an age to lie about outside of dating websites.
In all seriousness though it was a real bummer that a place literally across the street from me provided such a poor experience. Now I go out of my way a couple times a month to another liquor store when I want a drink.

Im a huge whiskey connoisseur and have travelled to many distilleries around the US to fully experience the process from the grain to the bottle. So I was excited to check out Mick’s selection. I had some shoes to pick up at Georges Shoe Repair, so thought it would be the perfect time, what’s better than whiskey and leather? I parked the car at Mick’s (multiple open spots), and ran and grabbed my shoes (took less then 2 minutes since I had prepaid) and went to drop them off at the car. On my way to the car, a gentleman that had been standing in Micks doorway for the 90 seconds opened the bottle shop door and said “youre going to stop in next time right?” I said “yep,” got in my car and left instead of dropping my shoes off at the car and checking out the selection. No matter the business, if an employee questions my integrity, Im not going to support their business. I stopped at Midway Liquor on the way home which has a great selection and always treats me with respect. I cant speak on the bottle selection at Micks, but just highly annoyed at the mentality of many MN businesses like this who dont support the other businesses around them. In this case specifically im shocked they cant recognize the value of having Georges nearby and that there are probably a lot of men who enjoy good quality leather and whiskey.
