I’ve always loved Patagonia, but today my experience took that appreciation to a whole new level.
I brought my 15-year-old Patagonia messenger bag to the store to ask about repairing the worn, scratched-off reflective strips. The staff let me know that this particular part couldn’t be repaired—but then they did something truly remarkable: they offered to trade in my old bag for a brand-new one at no cost. I walked out with a replacement that was equivalent in value and quality, completely free.
This level of customer service not only impressed me—it reaffirmed our confidence in Patagonia as a brand. Just two weeks ago, my wife and I spent about $1,000 on Jackson Glacier parkas, and we weren’t entirely sure whether we had made the best decision for our budget. After today, we feel completely reassured. We know we’ll be able to enjoy our parkas for many years without worrying about unexpected issues.
Patagonia has earned our trust all over again. Outstanding products backed by outstanding service.

Patagonia has simply put the best customer support out there. An employee made me aware of the iron clad guarantee and worked with me on a number of clothing items purchased throughout the last 10 years. When shopping they are there for you without hovering. I cannot say enough good things about the St. Paul team.

I believe the store rep that helped me was named Turner provided exceptional service was very quick and helpful with helping finding the right fit for their rain jackets. Patagonia stands by their products and they take care of their customers another reason to go for this brand over others. Thank you

I brought in two sweaters and a two pairs of pants that needed repairs. The rep told me honestly he wasn’t sure if they could be repaired, but Patagonia stands by their gear. Then he did something I didn’t expect: he replaced all four items on the spot.
No hassle. No paperwork. Just real service from a brand that means what it says.
That one moment was all it took. I’ve now switched my entire wardrobe to Patagonia and I’m converting my family’s too. When a company backs their mission with action, it’s not just good service. It’s rare, and it’s unforgettable.

Came with a broken zipper and damaged teeth on a well-loved sweater that my son has worn daily for 6 months and the store replaced it on the spot—no questions asked. While it likely could have been repaired; the gentlemen I spoke with insisted on replacing to avoid a 2 month wait.
I have a different well-loved jacket of my own in for repair and hope to receive it back soon because of the sentimental attachment I have to my Patagonia investments.
Patagonia, thank you for setting the standard for support and continuing to make me a very loyal customer—no matter which store I purchase your items from.
