Alanna is great. She's friendly, she's flexible, she listens to her clients wants/needs. I’m always happy with my haircut and color. She got all the black out of my hair two years ago, then worked with me over the course of several months while I grew out the damaged hair and found a new style. I’m now rocking a French bob that I’m super happy with!

Dustin was very accommodating and personable. I really needed a little pampering and Dustin delivered! My color and cut made my week and makes me look a decade younger even though I’m 55. I think I look more like I used to- a girl that is fun.
Requested style: I wanted some layers and shape cut into my hair to frame my face. I showed a couple of photos of styles I liked and asked him to employ his expertise, realizing my texture may not match that of the hair in the photos.

I got a lash lift and my tech, Alanna, used products she said weren't her normal products. My lashes didn't lift at all and I still paid and tipped 20%. I left a review (not public-facing) and she reached back to to correct the issue with a free lash lift. I accepted but when I tried to redeem, I was ghosted. Terrible service, in my opinion. Not responsible and very unprofessional. EDIT: They also deleted my google review so I came to yelp. I never leave reviews unless I get exceptional service. This is the first time I've ever left a negative review. I am suspect this business has been deleting/flagging ANY and ALL bad reviews. Beware.

There is no better salon in the city then Salon George. Ever since my friend recommended coming here I've never gone anywhere else. Pat (the owner) has truly created such a unique, collaborative and positive environment within the salon, staff and clientele. They ensure each client coming through their doors feels welcome, supported, and heard and its a priority taken seriously by each stylist. I don't understand the negative reviews about the staff because that is their biggest asset, not only are each of them knowledgable and in tune with the latest products, styles, you are treated so well and they are willing to work with you to achieve the result you are looking for. My stylist is Alanna and I will never see anybody else ever again. Having long black hair I have had poor experiences from stylists all my life cutting off too much hair, overcharging for treatment and styling poorly. Alanna from the first visit was extremely knowledgable about the products in the market, understood my hair goals and has helped me the past three years in achieving them. She is extremely kind, professional and goes above and beyond for her clients like me. My whole family came to salon george for an event and each of them were impressed by the way they adapted to each of their needs and styled them the way they wanted. I am moving out of Minnesota for work but will be flying back to Minneapolis whenever I get a chance to see Alanna and get styled by her! I only trust her and after 20 years of struggling finding the right salon and stylist I'm so happy I finally found a place where my needs and goals are kept priority at a reasonable price with such a positive atmosphere. Highly highly recommend.

Mitch was absolutely amazing. He gave me a haircut that worked perfectly with my face shape and hair type. He made me feel comfortable with a major transformation and I couldn't be happier.
The salon itself is welcoming and bright. There is plenty of street parking in a cute neighborhood.

Mitch was just phenomenal. I loved everything about the visit and even though I'm from out of state, I'll come back just for him. My hair is so beautiful and exactly what I was looking for!
The salon itself was also amazing. So welcoming and friendly, I loved the entire experience.

Patty (the owner),
I am very displeased with the experience my partner and I have had interacting with you. As an owner of a business I would’ve thought it would be reasonable to treat your customers with respect, but being threatened into silence by saying you will press charges for defamation takes this to a another level of ridiculous, I would agree.
Though I can not speak on behalf of the bad experience my partner received under the care of your daughter, I can speak on behalf of the interaction I had with you while my partner tried to resolve her displeasure with you.
She has documented health issues that prevent her from growing thick hair, and takes a very long time to grow out nicely. She came home crying to me because her hair was mishandled, broken, and frankly looked like a mess after she had taken extremely good care of it the past 2 years to get it to that stage.
The phone call I observed after that had my blood boiling and I could not believe the lack of understanding for an upset customer. We tried to be reasonable with you, she did not feel safe in the care of your team after becoming a victim by your staff and did not want to return to your salon for whatever fix you were trying to market. There was no fixing what happened to her. We only asked for a refund and let you become aware of the issues caused by your team and the incorrect itemized receipt.
For anyone thinking about trying the salon out, I would highly discourage you. 0/10 stars for my experience interacting with the owner. 0/10 customer care from my experience.

I absolutely love everything about Salongeorge. The vibe of the salon is amazing and the hairstylists always hype you up! I always get my hair done by Lanna and she does an amazing job! I always leave the salon feeling so beautiful and confident.

I again went to Alanna for my hair. She is just the best, never want to go to anyone else. I mentioned this in one of my last reviews also but the atmosphere of the place is just unmatched. All of the hairdressers are gorgeous inside and out and super friendly❤️ I will insert my before and after also so everyone knows the magic she can work!

Liv did a wonderful job in her consultation of my needs based on a bad previous haircut at another place. She gave me a beautiful hair cut and I had a great experience. She was kind and listened very well.
