Sewing Lounge is a beautiful local independent fabric store with a wonderful and impressive range of fabrics. This includes garment-level fabrics like corduroy and modal, plus materials great for quilting, blankets, and crafts. The shop also has a nice selection of trims, buttons, zippers, notions, patterns, and sewing machines. They offer very informative and helpful beginner sewing classes in a welcoming environment with a great instructor. The service is kind, helpful, and wonderful. A big printer is available for PDF patterns. Sewing Lounge is the best kind of fabric store and a regular stop for many.

A friend and I took the Sewing 101 class and had a great time! The environment was very welcoming and the instructor had a great way of explaining things for all types of learning styles. The pace of the class was just right too! The shop has a really nice selection of fabrics, notions, and sewing machines.
