The staff made things really easy for me when I rented my truck on 02/08/2025. They even helped push me out of the parking lot when it wouldn’t get traction in the snow!!
When I forgot something in my truck rental, Lovell helped find it and return it to me!! So helpful!

With a reservation in hand for a cargo-van, I went to the Maplewood location, where my reservation showed for pick-up. When I arrived, they had switched the pickup location to Burnsville (30 minutes out of the way and in a bad part of town). I was able to switch it to this location, and headed on my way.
When I went in, I stood in line for what felt like an eternity while the Supervisor chatted up a customer about trading in phones. Eventually someone called me up and confirmed they had the cargo-van and started the process. I pulled out my driver's license and they said they would not rent me the cargo-van, despite my reservation. I was confused (obviously) and they said that because I had a non-MN driver's license, it was their policy. They tried to justify this with saying that they keep getting stolen. To wich I replied that I literally handle investigating stolen vehicles for a job, and out of state driver's licenses have nothing to do with it.
Regardless, it is their general manager's policy not to rent those specifically to non-MN drivers. They would happily rent a larger vehicle (not something I'm comfortable driving).
Don't waste your time with Uhaul, and specifically this location.
I will be calling their corporate office to inquire whether this is a policy that corporate is aware of, and if they condone it. Yes, they messed up my day so bad, that I will devote actual man hours to this.

Needed LP for my RV. Carl helped me out and provided excellent service. It was the end of the day and busy. He was the calm and pleasant despite the closing rush. I saw him treat multiple customers with the same great attitude and hustle.
