I have never felt compelled to write a review, but seeing that my experience was echoed by another review written an hour ago, I feel I should do the same.
I had a terrible experience today. I needed to send some packages and needed to box them in house. Everything was already wrapped and ready to go, just needed to box my items and tape them. I walked in and decided to use priority shipping as these were sentimental items. The postal worker immediately let me know that these were “more expensive boxes” (which I was aware of). I was appreciative that he let me know, so I continued to package my items, which required 4 boxes. A couple minutes after I folded some boxes and started working on packaging, the worker let me know that he was going on a mandated break in 10 minutes. I absolutely respect the importance of this break, and was nearly done packaging (just needed to tape), so I told him I would be done by then. However, he started counting me down at the 5 minute mark, 2 minute mark, and even turned off the lights. He told me if I wasn’t done I would need to get out. He asked me if I wrote the names on my boxes (which I hadn’t yet… I was clearly working on things) so I told him I had the addresses written on a sticky note and would write them down in a second. He then said “you NEED to write the names on the boxes!” Additionally, I kept fumbling the tape (because who wouldn’t be flustered by this point) and he took the time to explain to me how tape works with the tape holder. It was like he was treating me like it was my first time experiencing a post office, or perhaps life itself. He did not offer me any help until after the lights were off and I was already upset. I’m pretty sure I mixed up some of my packages because I was so flustered. There was a woman outside peering in probably wondering why the door was locked.
I’ve never been treated so poorly by a postal worker. I absolutely respect anyone who goes into this profession because I can’t imagine how exhausting it can be at times. However, I feel like there was no excuse for this behavior or passive aggressiveness. I left completely upset and sat in my car and watched as people went up to the door to find it closed.

Irregular hours. Not only including the full closure over lunchtime, even the other hours are fully suspect. I’m currently watching 2 elderly people who rode the metro line to come here, knocking and pulling on the door, and it’s 88 degrees and they, like all of us didn’t know why it was closed. And according to the hours posted, should have been open.
Eventually, the door peeped open and a guy stuck his hand out to take incoming mail from a 5-person deep line and before I could get to the door from my car in front of the building, the door was locked and the guy walked away.
The most unreliable post office. Do not get a PO Box here. You have to build your entire day around getting access to this site.
As I’ve written this message no less than 10 cars have pulled up, double checked the hours, knocked, drove away. Over and over again.
Even if the hours are limited, just post them and require those hours, you are messing up a lot of peoples day.

Usually closed, unpleasant when open.

Worker was awful. No customer service. UnfortunatE this is his career choice. It doesn't fit his personality or lack there of. He should stay behind closed doors and never customer facing. Left and went to UPS.

For the most part I really like this post office but the fact they can never take cash because they don’t have exact change drives me absolutely crazy! From what I’ve gathered they start the day with basically no money in the till so if it’s a slow day or even if it wasn’t and most people used cards you are SOL. An organization like the post office should ALWAYS be able to take cash. I understand from working in retail that occasionally weird days can mess up the till but this is a very persistent issue and it is unacceptable.

Staff member was generally rude and passive aggressive with his response. Go to another location if you can.

Stopping in at this location was one of the smoothest post office experiences I have ever had. I went to this location to complete a change of address form after a recent move. It was slow when I visited, and there was no wait to approach the counter. The staff member was friendly and helpful in answering my questions, and I was able to leave without a doubt that I had completed my goal successfully. The parking was easy and well marked, and the interior of the office clean and tidy.

Staff are pleasant, patient, and particularly skilled in explaining USPS postage policies to customers.

Jeff’s great. Warm and friendly. Because I’ve gone at off hours, I rarely have to wait.

"On lunch" from 1:00 to 1:30, so I came at 2:30. Doors still locked even though all the signs say they're open on a normal Monday. If I'm trying to get errands done, I'd like if the post office was open when it says it is.
