Vertical Endeavors - St. Paul is a top indoor climbing gym that offers fun and action-packed activities for people of all ages and skill levels. The large climbing space features bouldering, auto-belay walls for beginners, top-roping walls for intermediate climbers, and lead climbing walls for advanced enthusiasts. The variety of routes, marked with color-coded grips and difficulty levels from 5.5 to 5.14, ensure there is something for everyone, whether they are new to climbing or experienced. Rentals for harnesses, shoes, and chalk bags are available, with options to bring your own gear. The staff is known for being helpful, attentive, and passionate, always ready to assist and encourage climbers. The facility is well-suited for families, with programs for children and summer climbing camps, and it makes a great venue for birthday parties, complete with a private room, climbing instruction, and plenty of fun. Climbing here provides a good workout and an exciting way to challenge oneself, with climbers often surprised by how young children can confidently scale the walls using auto-belays. Visitors are advised to bring water, wear comfortable and layered clothing, and keep their nails short for safety. The environment can get dusty due to chalk and grime, so bringing wet wipes is recommended. The climbing area is a bit dirty at the base with shredded tire/rubber bits, so supervision is advised for young children. Overall, Vertical Endeavors - St. Paul is a highly recommended, friendly, and engaging climbing gym that offers a safe, fun, and challenging experience for all.
the holds and climbs feel like they were not put together with care and all around felt clunky. i do like how the auto belay does not help you up the climb but besides that the routs feel incomplete and the rout markers don’t help indicate the difficulty very well.

The workers were nice and helpful. Clean gym. My friends and I had a great time. I'll be back.

Super cool people, the auto belay is awesome! You can go by yourself for that reason they were so nice and didn't make fun of me when I said I peed my pants from being scared of heights
