Rude, unhelpful staff and can't get prescriptions on time. One of the staff members also told me they just ignore the phone most of the time.

This used to be a great pharmacy. The staff is always rude. It does not matter if there is 1 person in front of you or 20, it will take forever no matter what. Between each customer the staff needs to run to the back to gossip rather than helping the next person in line. I can understand being understaffed. Hours are inconsistent anf the staff has no clue when they are open or when they close. Do better Walgreens!! I have tried calling for 2 weeks straight to find out where my prescription is and all you get is we are sorry to keep you waiting. I have sat on hold for 1 hour each day woth no answer. You can not get a complete refill it always a partial refill paying full price and when you return to pick up the remainder of your medication you pay another full price rate. Their staff needs to be retrained in customer service.

Get more staff. Honor the timeline you tell your customers. Do better.
Called on Monday afternoon.
They said it would be ready on Tuesday AM.
Went on Tuesday AM to stand in line for 20 minutes only to be told it was not ready. Utter waste of time. And it happened to multiple people in front of me as well.

The worst run pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Never open and always late. I’d rather travel across town than waste my time here.

I've been using Walgreens pharmacy for years. However, over the last year my prescription, that is an automatic refill every month, is consistently out of stock and I end up not getting it on time every time. This time, it took over a week and a half to refill it. This is extremely inconvenient. In case some people aren't aware, birth control isn't just for reducing the risk of pregnancy, but other things that effect my day to day life. So when I do not get my prescription on time and then am forced to have hormone related migraines for several days... It's really not cool. Now, I am not going to complain to the people at the desk because they're clearly overworked, but now it has come to the time, as I stand in a giant line waiting and wasting more time, I just won't be using Walgreens as my pharmacy any longer. I can only imagine that if other people, perhaps elderly or whoever, that doesn't receive their refills on time, have much more drastic side effects or are subjected to other risks because of this are hurting much more than me, and that's kind of scary. So... As a company, do better.

I often describe this corporation as not caring if its patrons live or die, but I’m starting to think they’d rather have us die.
I’m writing this review having been on hold to talk to someone in the pharmacy about transferring my prescriptions outside of Walgreens because it’s so impossible to get your medication in just one trip. Either they give you a call saying it’s ready only to show up and be told it isn’t, being told they threw the prescription away, or waiting in a line of people that no one has a spare hour for. Ive had to get out of line before because it was taking longer than time I could spare.
I’ve been in the queue to speak with a pharmacist over the phone for 90 minutes with no end in sight.
Update, photo attached. My phone’s battery is drained from almost 4 hours on hold. I mostly wanted to see what would happen after a certain point. The call started faking me out with ringing, then back to waiting music. Now the music has stopped, and so has my will. You win, Walgreens.

The worst pharmacy every time it’s a problem
The pharmacist will refill your prescription when she feels like it it don’t matter if it’s ready for pick she will give you a super hard time when she shows up for work and they are actually open that lady should be fired

I don’t make a habit of google reviews but I’m on day 2 of severe withdrawal from my medication because this pharmacy has failed to fill it. The initial refill request was put in nearly a week ago. I’m too sick to work. The medication is still not ready.

Awful. Never open even when posted. I'M DONE WITH WALGREENS Corporation. Why trust them with such an essential task?

I very rarely write reviews but my goodness I just got hung up (10-7-24) on after being on hold for over 40 minutes.
Calling/dealing with this pharmacy has been one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. The shortest amount of time for them to answer a call is 30 minutes and I have been on hold for over 2 hours. My doctor calling as a provider has been on hold for over a hour and refuses to call this location. I have switched to Lloyd’s pharmacy which I cannot recommend highly enough but unfortunately have to go here occasionally based on med availability.
I’m sure they are understaffed, overworked and underpaid but they cut their hours of operation by 25% and still cannot get to calls.

If you have medication you must take consistently do NOT use this pharmacy! The staff I talk to are nice but everything else is terrible. Pretty much what every other review says: prescriptions are never (seriously not once) ready, phone waits are always 15 minutes+, in general extremely slow and unreliable service.

Absolutely the worst Walgreens pharmacy I’ve ever had to use. Grossly understaffed. Prescriptions are never filled on time, causing me to go through withdrawal until they finally fill it days later. It will randomly close (most likely due to staffing) and the hours are constantly changing. The only way to have your prescription filled in a timely manner is to physically go there and have them fill it while you wait. You’ll probably have to stand in line for at least 30 minutes and it’s very hot in the part of the store where the line is. The customers are usually very rude to the staff which is why they probably have high staff turnover. I highly recommend using a different Walgreens/pharmacy that is better staffed and supplied.

There was no advance notice of an early closing for June 28 via my email. I drove to my pharmacy, which is not close, and at the drive-in window and in the store there was very little information available. One hand-lettered sign read that this is due to July 4, but July 4 is only one day. These details should be worked out at least one week ahead with advance notice.

Not getting my meds filled in time, the hold music seriously is angering and nobody answers for a long time, and I get hung up on. Are there any supervisors at all???

I’ve been in town for several weeks caring for a sick family member. I love St. Paul, everyone is so friendly and kind, it’s always a joy to come visit. On this visit though I have to say I’m exhausted dealing with the employees at this Walgreens. My highest praise would be that everyone is extremely consistent, unfortunately they’re consistently unhelpful and passive aggressive. The whole store is a bummer. To be fair I’d say there’s a good selection, but prices are a little high. And also to be fair to the employees, I’d imagine the employees are under tremendous pressure so I’d lean towards thinking this is a management problem more than a labor one. Whatever the cause though, I’d avoid this location if possible.
