I’ve been in town for several weeks caring for a sick family member. I love St. Paul, everyone is so friendly and kind, it’s always a joy to come visit. On this visit though I have to say I’m exhausted dealing with the employees at this Walgreens. My highest praise would be that everyone is extremely consistent, unfortunately they’re consistently unhelpful and passive aggressive. The whole store is a bummer. To be fair I’d say there’s a good selection, but prices are a little high. And also to be fair to the employees, I’d imagine the employees are under tremendous pressure so I’d lean towards thinking this is a management problem more than a labor one. Whatever the cause though, I’d avoid this location if possible.

Pretty much average for a Walgreens. They have never screwed up a Rx for me. One of the busiest stores in the country I understand. Nonprescription items are typically behind lock and key, plus they are not stocked well, so I would go elsewhere for those.

Do not send your prescriptions here. The worst Walgreens in St. Paul. Not an easy task. I called to get a status on my prescription. It wasn’t even in their system. I waited on hold for over 20 minutes to find out it was received but not ready. I was told to callback in an hour. I spent another 20 minutes on hold to find out it wouldn’t be ready today. The worst customer service. I will never send another prescription to this location.

I've really got to switch pharmacist. Never have anything ready. You'll be waiting awhile here. Bring a book or catch up on your stories. Then be prepared, once you make it to the front of the line, to be told it's not ready. Goodluck.

Like a fool, I figured “nicer location” must equal “better service”. Not to mention, I recently moved and just couldn’t justify routinely going 6 miles to my old location when there was a much closer option. My story is like the others on here, if you sort by new. Pharmacists won’t fill prescriptions unless you are either there in person, (and make it VERY clear that, no, you cannot come back at 9:30 PM) or call several times.Prepare to be on hold at least half an hour, and more likely 3-7 hours. Over the course of multiple phone calls. Many of which are disconnected ON WALGREENS’ END. I hate to use shouty-caps, but I’m floored. I’ve never had a business hang up on me four times in a row before I’ve even said a single word. Or, really, under ANY circumstances.I went through the ordeal from hell, trying to get my psych meds. I was having withdrawal from one of them, vomiting and dizzy. I needed them on Wednesday and finally had them filled on Sunday. This is after multiple calls, being hung up on, hearing that dreadful hold music, and missing out on an important social event.Like a fool, I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume maybe it was just a fluke! Have I mentioned that I’m a fool? Now it’s come time for me to get two of the meds I didn’t pick up that week. I submitted them for refill last Tuesday. I need them by Monday. Will I get them on Monday? Probably not.I don’t know what the hell I should do. I Need every single one of these meds just to remain stable and not s*icidal. I’m doing a lot of hard work in therapy but no amount of talk therapy can help you when your body is withdrawing from the medication that there’s no earthly reason for it not to have. I refuse to go through this every month.Never mind that the store itself is like a 1997 Time Capsule, poorly lit and dingy. Even the location I used to visit, in a sketchier part of town, was nicer on the inside.Honestly, stay away.

Whoever designed the phone line to play one single elevator jingle followed by the same [WE'RE "SORRY" TO KEEP YOU WAITING, BUT ALL OF OUR STAFF ARE ASSISTING OTHER CUSTOMERS, WE WILL BE WITH YOU "SHORTLY", THERE ARE 3 CALLERS AHEAD OF YOU] automated message every 17 seconds, I hope you have to wait on the line for two hours just for the privilege of getting disconnected without a word like I just did.

This place is the worst. Always a super long wait. It's worth driving to another city so you don't have to deal with it

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star, it's the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever used. Almost 2 weeks to refill a prescription, impossible to get ahold of anyone, and once you finally get the refill, the completely forget to have it shipped. The people absolutely do not know what they are doing, nor do they care.

i would give them less than one star if that was an option. the pharmacy is HORRIBLE. they're always running behind, unreliable, short staffed, ridiculously long wait times and half the time they just won't even fill your prescription because they're so "busy". Im never coming back here again.

If I could give this place a negative number of stars I would. Waiting for 2 weeks for a routine medication to be filled is not acceptable. I have received email and text notifications that other prescriptions are filled only to get to the store and find out that they have not been filled. The staff are obviously either overwhelmed or poorly trained or both. The store itself is junky and dirty. I'm trying to get my prescriptions changed to a different company because I believe this is a reflection of Walgreens overall service standards and not this particular store.

This place is super slow, they work like there's no rush and nobody knows what's going on. There always 1-2 hours behind what the website says your prescription will be ready. Currently 7 people waiting to get there prescriptions.

Trouble lately getting prescriptions filled in a timely manner. I often have to call to get them filled. Just spent 3 hours over the last 2 days on hold only to be disconnected. Vey disappointing

The worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Requires 3-4 in-person visits before my prescriptions are actually filled. May try the CVS down the road instead.
