I am SO SICK of my prescription not being ready when they say it will be!
Yesterday I called in a refill for my prescription and the automated line told me it would be ready by 11AM today. I drove up to the drive-through today at around 5PM, waited in line for probably 15 minutes (this is another downside to this pharmacy: the lines - both inside and at the drive-through - are consistently long), and then was told that my prescription won't be ready for another 30 minutes. I told them I have two kids in the car, I can't come back later, can they get it ready any sooner. No, I am told, 30 minutes.
This is the same exact thing that happened to me 3 months ago when I called in a refill.
This Walgreens has an automated refill system that is broken. Inaccurate. Infuriating. The lines are consistently long. And the customer service is unapologetic, non-empathizing, and frankly, unhelpful. I just did what I should have done long ago. I called Cub Pharmacy (a mere block away) and had them transfer my prescription refill to their pharmacy. I will NEVER be going back to Walgreens.

Pharmacy is horrible. My doctor sent order my prescription at 10am. I get there at 4pm and they tell me it’s not ready yet. Then made me wait till 5pm. I had to get up again and ask and then my order was ready immediately. Mind you all it’s just an inhaler. This has happened multiple times. This is by far the slowest pharmacy I’ve ever had to deal with. How u don’t have an inhaler in 7 hours?

The Pharmacy mustbe Walgreens primary business and source of profits yet THERE IS ALWAYS A LONG LINE. Today, ONE person dispensing prescriptions and a 30 min wait.

1110 Larpenteur in St Paul, MN is the Worst pharmacy I’ve EVER dealt with … they constantly close unexpectedly and without notice and leave you stranded without your medications and no way to get them. This shouldn’t be legal!!!! It’s not safe and it’s certainly not ok. Some medications cannot just be stopped without notice and some medications cannot be transferred to another pharmacy. I was told my prescriptions would be ready at 3:00 and I showed up at 3:05 and they were “closed for the day” even though everything says they are open until 10pm and I had just talked to them at 2:30 and they said nothing. Nevermind the time of mine they wasted having me come to a closed store. Then the extremely rude ESM Thomas was the most unhelpful manager I’ve ever spoken to . He should be fired for letting this happen and for the way he spoke to me it was embarrassing and he was very loud and public about my health concerns which I know is not ok because those are privacy issues. Walgreens does not care about their patients- at least not this store.

This Walgreens is unacceptably staffed. A woman today was absolutely horrible to my wife while she was simply trying to receive a money transfer. This was right after a screaming match with the woman before my wife. Maybe try to find staff that's able to actually talk to a customer if you want business.

I’ve had issues getting the proper medication refilled here time and time again. It’s always some kind of drama. Finally they just outright refused fill it because they refuse to carry my medication. They gave me a post it not with the drug manufacturer information and code so that I could search for all the pharmacies that may possibly carry it. It seems to me that they could’ve checked with other Walgreens to see if it was being carried at other Walgreens locations but that is apparently just too much of an inconvenience for these pharmacists.
Reaching out to a giant drug manufacturer isn't very easy as a consumer. If I could give this pharmacy ZERO stars I would.

Vaccine check-in app takes 15 minutes and doesn't check you in! Check in with a human. Otherwise good.

Great staff! The pharmacy tends to have a line, but the techs and pharmacists provide great customer service so it's worth a short wait .

If you like long waits, problems getting meds filled, repeated visits to get meds filled and arbitrary unexplained pharmacy closures, then Walgreens is for you. If you want any kind of service or sense, go elsewhere.
