Now back in August 2022 we did closing on a house and we had to pay every single debt we had under our name before we could even get approved for a 125,000 house complete total scam.

These people have been hounding me for a debt that isn't mine for years. They have now threatened me with a law suit. Ask they have sent me is a fraudulent statement with numbers that don't add up. I welcome a lawsuit since I have all my paperwork from the debter as well as the cursing and vile language they have used not to mention the threats and the harassment at work. All I wanted was a fair payment arrangement and they refuse to listen. Also forgot to mention I have been contacted by 2 other agencies claiming to open the same debt.Hmmm sounds like a scam to me. Hey your stuff together folks. I don't cave to fraud or threats.

They must not like money as our insurance adjuster and us have been requesting a guarantee of title so that the remainder of the loan can be paid off on our now totaled vehicle. We have called and emailed multiple times to no avail. At one point we were told that only one person works these and is backed up. It is unacceptable! Our insurance claim is now on hold and we have almost exhausted the number of days that we can have a covered rental. I will soon be out of a vehicle due to their inability to do their jobs properly. Perhaps once I can't get to work I will file suit for loss of wages.

Only the most sympathetic of the human species will survive on earth. Ants feed and guard each other and do not charge a price for those services. So, humans gain the ability to reason and decide that charging for survival is reasonable (where is the reason?). Humans have gained and wasted sentient abilities (not all have, so there is hope). Jefferson Capital is an example of an unsympathetic part of our species. I have to pay a thousand something using financial aid money that I need to use to support myself so I can focus on studying (that is, food, rent, and savings). At best, Jefferson Capital is a sophisticated loan shark

I’d give them zero stars if possible. They keep calling about an account from 14 years ago. It was paid off years ago and they keep threatening to put it on my credit report even though that ship has sailed years ago. Stop calling with empty threats!!

I found working with this company to be extremely easy and stress-free. Charlie was super nice to work with, patient, and explained all my payment options. I was sent an email with the payment plan I had chosen along with a due date. Two weeks later, I called in to make my payment and settle my account with them. I was on hold for maybe five minutes before speaking with a rep named, Sanaa. She was very nice and walked me through the phone payment process. I was given a confirmation number and sent an email the next day confirming my debt was settled. It was a very smooth and pleasant process for me.

I recently checked my credit and seen that I had a debt due to Jefferson Capital (I guess it was picked up from a previous debt I had incurred when I was 18). After which, I started researching ways to pay it off and stumbled across their website/ direct phone number. I was skeptical at first because of all the terrible reviews but when I called they made it simple for me to settle for less and due to all of the reviews I decided to keep records of every conversation, as well as, having receipts sent via email to confirm everything. I woke up yesterday and my debt was erased from my credit check account. So thank you Jefferson Capital for making it easy for me to clear that off!-A 22 year old trying to improve his credit.

They are a complete lying scam, like everyone else that left a review here. They didn’t contact me on debt that is over 20 years old that I thought was cleared because of fraud. No one knows what there doing on the phone and said my debt was returned to the original collection company, but not before they reported this nonsense to credit agency. They are obviously a terrible and unfair business practices.

Big Scam!!!!! Want to charge 379.00 to take off a 149.00 debt that we do not owe anymore to Verizon. Verizon said we don't owe since 2019 how in the world did this company get this debt have disputed over and over and over again. I am not going to send 1 penny to this company they are not original debtor, we don't owe it anymore they are all in kahoots with each other

So far so good! I’m almost finished paying off this debt and I haven’t had any issues with them. I’ve been pretty consistent with my payments and I’m starting to see the finish line.

This place is horrible just like Verizon wireless who I have a lawsuit against for allowing someone who went into a truck stop gas station in higginsville mo and I-70 hwy and used my identity to start service. I called Verizon and reported the fraud and they still trying to put a bill on me. So I guess this collection company wants sued also. Put it this way yall can put it on my credit 10 times I don't live off credit plus my cell phone service has always been prepaid.

Don't waste your time making a payment arrangement with them, because they'll just get a warrant in debt against you anyway so they can try to get the 6% interest no matter how long you pay on it. They're criminals and the people in their customer service are overseas and barely speak English so you end up giving your banking information to a bunch of people you can't trust with it. The whole industry of companies like this buying debt should be abolished.

Ill give 4 stars only because some of the customer service agents can be aholes when asking for information that is not clearly stated. But i paid them(a negotiated price) and surprisingly enough 3 weeks later the collection wascompletely removed from my credit. Its like it was never there
