Finished my basement using their pre-finished trim and doors. Sales representative came by and was kind enough to measure. Everything fit like a glove and looks great. Worked with Charlie Keller.

I ordered some special order skirt trim for my stairs and when it was received some of it was damaged(delaminating). I didn't have enough time to get replacement because carpeting was going in the following day. When I called Dale Symanietz and explained the situation he told me that they would only refund me for damaged trim and that I wouldn't get anything for the other trim even though I couldn't use it. I asked to speak with his manager William Stevens so I could explain the situation. I left him a message and he called me back. First of all he has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I explained the situation to him and he told me the same thing. I explained to him that I couldn't install just a couple pieces of trim, they all had to be installed at the same time and because some of them were damaged I couldn't. He proceeded to tell me that the only reason I didn't install them was because I changed my mind and now you want us to take back. He then told me that if I really wanted to install the trim that I would have given them a chance to replace it. I explained the scheduling issue and asked him what I could have done instead because the carpeting was getting installed the following day. He told me I should have rescheduled my carpeting install and pushed back my closing date 2 weeks for a couple pieces of trim. I then asked him if he looked at the trim, he said he had and that some delaminating is normal and that I don't know what I am talking about because I am not a professional. He didn't come right out and call me a idiot but he sure tried to make me feel like one. William then proceeded to tell me "this is what is wrong with today's society, consumers are always trying to screw the manufactures and get something for nothing." I told him I wasn't trying to get anything for free I just want you to take some responsibility for your faulty product and refund my money, you can have the product back. In the whole scheme of things I am only out 200 for trim I can't use so I guess this is more of a buyer beware. Because once they have your money they could care less about standing behind the products they sell. I will never do business with Trimpac again!
