I'm new to town and had a package returned to sender because I didn't have my mailbox set up. I stopped by the post office a few days later and the clerk went to search for my package even though I told her it was probably gone already. She found it and brought it to me. I really appreciated her help and kindness.

hit or miss depending on who is helping you. Usually I'm in and out in 5 minutes and the staff are helpful, but sometimes this isn't the case and they hold me hostage for half an hour and type everything wrong.
