Asian Direct Oriental Market is a good Asian grocery store for the south metro and an excellent addition to its area, adding needed Asian influence and variety. It is a small shop, about the size of an Aldi, with a lot of variety in every department, though not the largest selection of brands. The store carries fresh produce, a live fish and lobster tank, boba drinks, and ready-to-eat meals. The retail market has a good variety of Asian and Vietnamese items. Staff members are described as friendly and very helpful. Some reviews note the deli and banh mi offerings can be very limited or disappointing, and that the atmosphere could be more friendly.

I was looking for Ginkgo Nuts that were still in their hard shell. This store had them and their customer service was excellent. I would certainly shop here again
