“Wow - great find! It's hidden in a grocery store in a small strip mall a little bit off 42 in Burnsville - but I'm glad I made the trip from Apple Valley to try it. Great pupusas - had the cheese/chorizo, cheese/chicken, and cheese/green chile pupusas - all were _very_ good - large (larger than pupusas we've had elsewhere), well-filled and griddled to perfection. We had a chicken tamale, which was also tasty, but the best item was the pastelito de carne - a beef-filled "pie" - very similar to an empanada - but the crust on it was amazing. It was incredibly crispy, flaky, and flavorful - _almost_ like biting into a piece of fried chicken crust, but substantial enough to hold all that beefy filling inside without splitting/breaking. I'm not sure how they did it, but it was wonderful.
The service was great - incredibly friendly and helpful. Someone I assume was a manager/owner came out to talk with us about the meal - making sure everything was good, and telling us about the items (and doing a little data-gathering - "where are you coming from?, how did you find us?, etc." - sign of a well-run small business). We'll definitely be going back again...”

“Great place to save $$. Great fresh produce. Some store brand items are "hit & mlss" Inventories can be erratic. Overall a good place to shop! Added a new self checkout. Less wait for checkout...nice.”
“Always a great shopping experience! Of course there are common staple pantry items I wished Aldi carried! Otherwise - Aldi America comes close to Aldi’s in Deutschland where I really learned to appreciate Aldi’s!”
“I ordered groceries through instacart and the store associate that delivered it to my van was very rude! She slammed my groceries down in the back so hard that my eggs broke. The store manager, Helga, was so kind and understanding when I brought my concern to her. She replaced my eggs and offered to replace the other items that were in the bag with them. Thank you Helga for your help!”
“Once you get the hang of things, ALDI is great. It's also deeply disappointing at times, lol. The Weekly Finds go fast & there's never enough for everyone, but that's the nature of it. Make sure to bring a quarter for the shopping cart (which you get back when you return the cart) & your reusable shopping bags.”
“I really had a great experience at this location. I usually shop at the Aldi in Burnsville but will be going to this location going forward as it is closer and better maintained. Their produce is an amazing deal and in good shape. This location is very clean, the cashier's were super friendly, Aldi always carry great gluten free staples and treats. It is a bit of a change from the direction of most grocery stores with the cost cutting measures (quarter carts, no music, no baggers, no full service deli/bakery, super speedy checkout process/limited selection) and I'll happily skip those to have the savings passed on to my family. It's always an adventure going here as they rotate items frequently and seasonally. We have scored some really cool items in the special finds aisle, kids sandals, full length mirror, wall decor, pool floats. The gluten free bread, GF macaroni, GF cheddar biscuits, GF frozen ham and cheese hot pocket-esqe pastries, and cake mixed are all superb - my family loves these. There is delicious Greek yogurt and Two Good low cal/low carb yogurt. The vanilla bean hummus is low calorie and reminds me of eating sugar cookie dough - why and how does it taste so good? Their house brand, Happy Farms feta and swiss are fantastic. They have a great selection of cheeses. Their take and bake pizzas look so good - please get some GF options for these! Diapers are also a good deal. I don't think I would have shopped here before I had a family and now, with the amount if fresh fruit and vegetables we go through, I don't know want to go without it!”
“Aldi always has great prices and a pretty great selection. I would recommend this store to anyone who wants to save some money. They sell comparable products to the big brands.”
“Excellent prices and products - go here first and save substantially. Go somewhere else to fill any gaps. My family cut our grocery bill by 60% and with two hungry, active teenagers thats real money. Their in-house products are comparable to other brands 99% of the time. With prices this low it is a small risk to take.”
“Employee continued his personal conversation with fellow employees behind counter while our pizza was getting cold and took his time completing our sundaes ? as he watched us waiting at pick up counter”
“Nice place! Helpful staff that will make sure you find what you’re looking for. I was just browsing and picked up some nice imported tea and soda. There’s a great selection of foods from East Africa and the Middle East!”
“Huge selection of Asian meats and noodles including lots of live fish. Fantastic selection of ravens and other noodley goodness. Fresh and great looking produce.”
“We love Byerly's/Lunds, but the bakery items seem to have degraded in quality over the years. The bread items: focaccia, baguettes, brioche, etc. are still good, but lately we have thrown away dessert type items after a bite. The cookies are gaggingly sweet and tasteless otherwise. At holidays I drove to a Kowalskis to buy delicious holiday cookies, Last item I bought was a half pecan pie (UPC 7243124346-2 "Best by 03/20/25") that was utterly disappointing. Rancid nuts, mediocre crust, super sweet goo but nuts had NO taste other than staleness. It's sad to spend $11.99 to throw in the trash. I will resist in future.”
“Aldi near my house is an amazing place to shop 'cheap'. Yes, the prices here are way more affordable than any of Costco wallmarts etc. this store has everything available too. I simple love taking the stroll to Aldi and getting groceries”
“My go to grocery store. Everything under one roof. Deli, butcher shop, bakery, patisserie, fish monger and so much more. Unequaled selection at way better prices that other premium minnesota grocery chain”
