I love this location! Being new to the state I have tried out the various grocery stores but I ended up getting the Hy-Vee perks rewards card because I enjoyed coming here so much. The employees are helpful with any questions and they basically have everything you can possibly think of. They just recently added a new section to the store that is specific to baby needs and I loveee this being a new mom! All baby basic items from medicine, to baby food, to cups, utensils, teeters, you name it they got it. The bakery is always stocked with donuts, cakes, and goodies which is hard to resist. It is also right across from the in-store Starbucks which is hard for me to pass up haha. I love the ready to eat options that they have there and the different sections you can order food such as sushi, stir fry, pizza, chicken, and deli. The store is very organized and clean! I could go on and on about Hy-Vee but I strongly recommend this grocery!

Worst. Came here and spent 242.00 on 4 bags of groceries which I would expect only for Byerlys! And I had to check out and bag my own groceries!!! The worst! First and last time we will come! Byerlys prices with ZERO service. You're charging way too much to not have workers! Shame on you!

Nothing puts me in a worse mood then working 10-12 hours in retail sales then coming to hyvee to scan and bag my own groceries. You dont pay me, I don't get a discount, I don't get a W2, no vacation, no sick time, but you expect me to work. I expect you to have employees to do that. I don't work for you. What do people say in line in front and behind of me? THE SAME THING, SAME COMPLAINTS. Do better!

They had a GREAT bakery and floral section! Visiting from Texas and needed a Birthday Cake and flowers for my friend. Hey-Vee to the rescue!

Kudos to staff at HyVee in Savage today. We had a medical emergency at the checkout and the response by the cashier, the manager on duty, and other HyVee employees was amazing. One of the staff did call the police and I had them call for an ambulance. They brought water and an ice compress as well as a chair to sit on. I just couldn't be more appreciative and thankful for the care and compassion shown to me and my daughter. Thank you, Savage HyVee for hiring the most kind and caring people.

Staple in the community. I'm impressed that shelves were stocked instead of the turkey bacon/turkey items. Fun area with "The Candy Store" so many options for people that have a sweet tooth. Dedicated area for pets with an extensive catalog of treats and items. Health/wholeness is a key focus at this location. Great visit

Hy-Vee is a pretty good place to pick up food or just shop there in person, definitely a lot of good choices. The only problem if had is that every once in a while they will run out of stuff but other than that there great!

Always friendly and helpful. I came from Wisconsin and would like to see the bakery dept add crullers Delicious. As HyVee moves into WI you will find customers expect to be able to purchase. Also put a lot more apples into your Apple fritters. I stopped buying but I saw two slices sticking out and thought a would try again. Nope. All dough

So disappointed! I love HyVee in Wisconsin and South Dakota. I don't know what is wrong at the Savage stores. I need to always check Expiration dates because there are so many items that are expired. We bought HyVee name steak and when my husband opened the package it smelled horrible! It was expired he forgot to check the dates. The other one he bought wasn't yet expired but smelled awful also. Did not have a good experience with picking up my groceries awhile ago so will never do that again either. Thankfully there are other grocery options near us. No more HyVee for us

Of all the grocery stores I go to, this store, Savage Hy-Vee has had the worst "Violations" of common sense and food safety. I have found a dead mouse in the parsley, watched the meat dept. clean the case while leaving all the meat, ground, etc. un-protected sitting on the counter (not cooled or covered) and today at the DelI, the person getting meat used his glove to clean the counter and scale before getting my sandwich meat. All around unsafe and a sign of serious management/leadership issues . Do Better!

Do NOT get the sushi there. The rice was under-cooked and the wasabi looked like guacamole that had been left out on the counter for three days. Now I'm worried how bad the other "quick food" places taste.
