“Came upon Marine General Store while taking a casual drive outside of Stillwater, MN. The 173 year old building is a historic gem! The original front door and check out counter gave this General Store a true, authentic feel from a bygone Era. We spent our time looking over wonderful tasting goods from the deli and bakery (everything made on the premises!). Better than all the goods we purchased were the people we spoke with: down-to- earth, kind humans all around. The gentlemen overseeing the deli and checkout were friendly, helpful, and a delight to converse with. Several locals in the store also joined in conversations and we felt quite welcome. Being new to the area (MN), this was a great way to spend part of our day!”
“I'm going to preface my review with a reminder that this is a discount store. Some of the produce isn't pretty, and you will find items past their "best by" date.I've been following the Facebook page for months, but couldn't quite justify a 30+ minute drive for items that might sell out before I arrive. I was in Lindstrom today so I stopped.Not only did they have some amazing deals on food I use regularly, they also had a New Year's discount. I walked out of the store with over 25 pounds of meat, herbs, and berries for just over $50. I don't expect to find those deals every time, but it was well worth my time.”
“A perfect selection of literally anything you might want. I went in hoping to find Lefse and not only did I find it, they had two brands/styles. And don't forget about the amazing in-house made fresh sushi. Simply amazing!!”
“I have a lot of family living up in Lindstrom, including my 87-year-old mom. I like to get up there at least once a week and I always, always have to stop at Brinks. Great employees and an awesome selection of specialty foods.”
“Definitely sorta rundown but for what it is it's a nice little store friendly workers who will help you find what you need and often they have good sales would highly recommend to anyone in the New Richmond or Somerset area or anyone else for that matter”

“There's a decent selection of merchandise. The downside is the prices are on the higher side and just a word of caution on the sales items to check the expiration dates. They do have a very good selection of fruits and vegetables and the sales are decent (if you watch the dates).”

“Ever since we moved here in 1995, the Scandia Market has been a dependable place to go for groceries, household items, over-the-counter medicine, and ice. It is so nice to have a market less than 5 minutes from our home. The convenience of being able to get something - especially if we run out while making a recipe - is invaluable. The cashiers are consistently upbeat and make visiting the store a pleasant one each time.”
