“When all of my paychecks from teaching full-time were going to childcare services, I decided to stay home with our 8 month old little boy. We struggled with food insecurity to the point where my husband and I went to bed hungry most nights so our son would sleep with a full belly. I finally swallowed my pride and reached out to The Open Cupboard for help. I was met with adequate and nutritious household staples along with zero judgment. The volunteers here are kind, understanding, patient and compassionate. To this day, we are still so thankful for the food shelf along with the diaper bank. Thank you Open Cupboard! You are helping so many families navigate through life during hard times.”
“Only saw the "guest house" (I think). And the venue for the performance by David Huckfelt, an amazing songwriter, guitarist, and singer. Whole place was gorgeous!”
“Lots to see. Bring your walking shoes. The sculptures are spread out across a large area of unpaved trails. We spent about 90 minutes and did not see everything. The visitor center building and restrooms were well kept.”
