We recently visited the store to look at some bikes and ask questions. We are looking at possibly getting into the sport as a family. It's a big decision and big investment. They were extremely friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Definitely would go back and shop there.

Great shop right next to the Old Swedish Immigrant Trail. Brought 2 bikes in for separate issues and received quick, professional, friendly service each time. Specialmention for Lynn for the excellent service!

First class shop! Although it might be a tad out-of-way for some, it’s definitely worth the trip to go shop with Steve & Lynn. High quality stuff. Steve is also an excellent mechanic as well as an active rider. Lynn provides the service end, and she’s terrific. Can’t say enough good about them. BTW I bought a gravel e-bike from them, and it’s top shelf too.

Ignore the Californian review. Lynn and Steve provide customer service that sets the bar for all LBS's. I've been in the shop several times and they ALWAYS take time to help me and anyone that walks in. They are an avid and active bicycling family and are passionate about cycling. It's apparent after only a few seconds in the shop.A friend and I bought our new MTB's there because of the customer service - before buying and its been even better after buying. Maklin Bike Shop is worth the drive to Shafer. We're lucky to have a LBS like this in the metro area.

We're incredibly satisfied with our experience with Maklin! Lynn and Steve are very knowledgeable, have a great selection of inventory, and will work to meet your needs. They're also conveniently located off of HWY 8. It's becoming rare to have this level of customer service and product knowledge in local bike shops - not the case here! When it comes to support your local bike shop, this is it.

This bike shop is fabulous. The owners are very knowledgeable, experienced, and super nice. Prices were affordable and reasonable. They helped me with emergency repairs over the weekend when I only had a few days in town during a year-long camping trip. I am so appreciative for their help so I can keep exploring trails on my bike as I travel!
