Wow. What a wonderful experience. My husband is in need of a wardrobe upgrade. He loathes shopping. So, we were delighted when we found Bill’s Toggery. We had the intention of going in for a nice pair of slacks, dress shirt and maybe a sport coat to start. Well, we ended up with a wonderful experience, 2 pants, 2 shirts and 2 sport coats and a pair of killer shoes. Billy and his team are just plain amazing. We were greeted casually and offered wonderful attention and help. Never pushy. Prices are fair. Staff is superb. Overall a perfect experience. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. The staff are professionals who exceeded expectations. We spent about 2 hours in there and saw many people come and go. They arrived content but left happier than ever…purchases in tow.

One of the easiest “5’s” I’ve ever given. The team is fast but not rushed. Trying on clothes is not my favorite Saturday activity, but the thorough and friendly approach made it an easy stop.

I ordered a custom suit, sport coat and two custom shirts from Bill’s Toggery. The fabrics are outstanding and the service was absolutely old school and off the charts. I have been wearing suits in a work setting for over 40 years and these products are the best fitting and most well made products I have ever purchased.The custom fitting makes a huge difference and Billy is great to work with making adjustments that will compliment your appearance. This is a truly great experience which delivered outstanding products well worth the cost.I highly recommend Bill’s Toggery.

I have been wearing suits for over 40 years in a business setting, I ordered a suit and my son purchased a sport coat for me at Christmas. The Italian fabrics are stunning and the workmanship paid attention to all the details that let people know you are wearing a custom suit. The custom fitting was a differentiator as the shirts, pants , vests, and jackets all fit great and looked better than any name brand suit off the rack. Billy is the ultimate professional and knows what he is doing!! This was a great experience.

The level of service you get at Billy's is top notch, hands down! Not only did Billy personally work with me and my groomsmen for my wedding, but he guided us thru the process helping us make the right decisions that had me and my guys (Not the easiest guys to fit lol) looking sharp on wedding day. When you go into Billy's, you're not just going to leave with clothing. You're leaving with a friendship!You and you're team are awesome Billy!PS...I read a review from 3 weeks ago that accused or assumed that Billy and his team is racist. As a man of color myself and all of my groomsmen being of multiple cultural backgrounds, I KNOW FOR A FACT this is not true! It's very dangerous to cast those assumptions onto someone or a business when they are not true. I felt it necessary to edit my post to speak specifically to that. Not sure what that person's experience was but I can guarantee you that racism or discrimination was not behind it.??♂️

Cannot recommend this place enough. Walked in, was greeted by an extraordinarily friendly and hospitable salesman, who got me set up with exactly what I needed without overselling me. I just needed to buy a basic suit and shirt, and he came in underbudget for me and made the whole process of fitting and buying extremely easy despite my own lack of knowledge. I'll definitely be going back for my second and third suits when I need them.

I went here because I needed a garment dry cleaned. The staff isn't friendly(to us), and they didn't greet us as we were looking around. I was initially excited and was going to do some early holiday shopping. They clearly don'tlike melanated people. They followed us around the store. Lol Really? In 2023- we're still doing this? 0/5 is stars. SmThen the owner comments aggressively and threatens. Lol. No one is afraid of you, sir. It was my experience. I don't care how long you've been in business. Good day.

Called, asked if it was too late to rent a suit for an event Friday just after they opened. I was told no problem, they should be able to help me, a jacket would be hard if I was bigger. Drove quite a distance, came in, asked to be set up with a rental for friday, I was met with attitude, telling me they need at least two weeks. They could get me one Friday if I purchased, not rented, one.Leaves me wondering, was the person on the phone wrong, or was this an attempt to up sell me?No matter, traveled to a big box, was taken care of for Friday.Edit: Even if I hadn't asked to rent, which I did, you'll notice they didn't address the attitude I received in the store? They didn't say "Oh, I'm sorry, we can't get you a rental suit in that time frame. We have a line of suits that are affordable", they could have also said something like "Oh, I'm sorry, we can't get you a rental suit in that time frame. If you check with X, Y, or Z they might be able to help you out." all of which could have been followed up with "I'm sorry we couldn't help you this time." and I would have maybe been willing to try again.The truth is, the he said, she said bits here don't matter. Sort their reviews lowest rating, to highest, and see how much attitude, and how incredibly poor they treat other customers. Shocking. Just shocking.

My review is well overdo! Last year, 3 days before our wedding my now husband received a completely wrong rental suit from a different company. In a panic we went to every shop that could help, and ended up here. Since my husband is a very tall man not many places had his size available, but Bills did! They were absolutely amazing, they helped us find a suit and did alterations same day to give us peace of mind. My husband looked like a million bucks!!! Since then any time we go to shakopee (we live 30ish mins away) we make it a point to stop at this store to find something new, because they deserve all the business. Thank you for all your help every time we are in!!!
