The front desk staff are arrogant, lazy and outright rude. They're all young twenty-somethings and even if they shouted the words "I dislike my job and the customers" they're actions would still communicate it best. My first morning included are young lady who rudely "shooed" me away from the service desk right after a purchase.The following morning I visited the front desk to make another purchase and there was no one around for roughly 30 to 40 minutes. I used the lobby phone page for service as the sign instructed. I even rung the service number back to back for ten minutes straight and still received no response. The young man who finally returned to the front desk look high or as if he had just woke up from sleep. When I explained that I had been waiting for someone to make my purchase, he just stared down at me with a smug grin on his face as if to say "Yeah so?"Terrible service and disrespectful staff. I'm leaving my experience about this location and it's staff on every review website I can find.

Seeing a trend of this happening. Had a buddy stay there once and had his things go missing and he thought maybe it was misplaced. Stayed again came to his room with all his things gone and all of his money missing out of his bag and the manager was the one that cleared the place out. I will NEVER stay here.

Absolutely horrible! Friend had stuff stolen from him by staff (the manager)! Scum of the earth dirt bags! Highly recommended not staying here!!

Service good, bed sheet DIRTY, has black hair and I have no hair because I am bald.Also there are many documentaries on Hotels not changing and washing sheets, didn't believe it until now.Eew gross shame on "MY PLACE HOTEL"!!!I will finish later, I am here paid for by my job for 2 more nights will give more review as I go or afterwards.

I was turned away because they had free roaming dogs and I asked to have them leashed and I was threatened and denied a room. Totally unprofessional and the store manager was like a teenage girl no customer service skills and I was hung up on. Worst place in shakopee in my book.

Previously I posted a review. It was just the first day of my observation. They have been very accommodating to my schedule. They have assisted with all requests. If I needed and asked they dud great. So my initial review was just from not ever staying at any my place hotels. So far it is great. Management is great. They have been very nice and friendly. Now I have stayed several days it is a 5 star rating.Safety: GreatWalkability: Great

Room was semi clean but clean. Floor could have been vacuumed around the bed more. A few dog hairs. Drawers in the kitchen had a few crumbs. One countertop was not cleaned. I saw a cup stain. It was just ok. Could have been alittle with the cleaning. I am glad the cost was reasonable. I wiped everything down and vacuumed the floor myself. NO MAJOR COMPLAINTS. ADDEDED: Management is great and accommodating. I changed my rating.

Stayed here for a night. Affordable and just my pace/style with a kitchenette including a 2-plate burner (eating out on your travels get old fast for me). The staff were really kind, friendly and helpful and they matched prices found online too. The room was very clean and they even had big cozy, plush blankets on the bed. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in town. It’s also super close to a delicious Vietnamese restaurant!

My only complaint was that the bed was too hard for me but we cannot blame hotels for our own mattress preferences. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very inviting. I was shocked to find a full size refrigerator, 2 burner stove, etc. The staff were friendly and very helpful!

We walked into our room and it was disgusting. Dog hair all other beds, make up-blood looking liquids and dirt on the bed sheets. But it doesn’t end there we walked into the bathroom and it was Dirty. Toilet had yellow stains sink had black dirt maybe even mold and then the vent and yellow toilet paper attached to it. We reached out to front desk and they said it was partially cleaned but then stated that they didn’t have house keeping to clean it! Never again!!

Stayed there a few weeks ago for the renaissance festival. Price was fair, rooms are nice with space not all everything cramped in with now room to walk, outlets by the beds for charging phone, staff was friendly will definitely be coming back.

Lobby staff was great. The rooms were great and it was nice to see stovetops and a full fridge. Beds were kind hard though but I can be a bit of a princess in a pea, lol.
