This business owned and run by the Bartel family and they do a great job of presenting the merchandise and always having a great selection of local items as well. Always a must stop everytime I drive up the north shore through Beaver Bay.”

“About 4 years ago--before the pandemic hit--my buddy Dave and I went on a motorcycle trip into southern Canada via hwy 61. We had the distinct pleasure of spending several nights in cabin #4 at this great place. The owners were so friendly we just loved them to pieces. One night after returning from a day in Ely at the Blueberry Festival, Dave and I returned on our Harleys only to have the owner open his garage to let us out of a drowning rain storm. We have fond memories of the Eagle's Nest, and I have two foreign made knives purchased at the store to enhance those memories. Now that the pandemic is almost over--or is it?--I plan to make that trip again, and I will surely be stopping by the Eagle's Nest while in beautiful Minnesota and the Sky-line Drive of Lake Superior.”
