This place is off the hook. Huge variety of stuff, the prices seem a bit high to us.

Lots of antiques and collectibles, but there are a lot of things that are just old or unwanted which makes large portions of the shop just seem like catch-alls.

Nice random stop. Most of it is overpriced and has been sitting there for years but it is all well-tended, unlike most of the (not-so-closet) Hoarder Yards that advertise as "antique" or "thrift" stores that have their stuff priced to _not_ sell. Occasionally there are decent prices, but mostly I see things like glassware singles for $6, entire sets of cut-glass "crystal" for $250, used carboys or canning pots for $30-75...

Love to see what they have every time we visit the North Shore. Great spot to pick up vintage Fiestaware.

This is a mecca for me on the North Shore, in East Beaver Bay. As a tableware collector, I love the sheer variety of pieces available, plus the attractive prices. Some items are indoors, while others are displayed on large plywood improvised tabletops outside. Tarpaulins are attached with clips to the tables outdoors, and can be hastily drawn up to cover merchandise in case it rains. Besides tableware, there are figurines, farm implements, jewelry, vintage signs, vases, games, dolls, toys, furniture, decorative artwork, and other categories of vintage items. Sonja is the owner, and will answer questions about inventory and the variety of merchandise being sold there, on consignment. There is something for everyone at Second Hand Rose.

LOTS of glass so if that's your thing you'll love it! Prices were high like everything on the North Shore.

Nice clean thrift store priced reasonably. Kind people who work there. I appreciate this tiny town having it around to recycle what we all don't want or purchase something at a great price. I live on the same street.

They really have the stuff. I walked out seventy dollars lighter (bridle, reins, cant hook). What are you looking for? Items from great grandma's kitchen or grandpa's tool shed or the barn? It may be here. Most everything is displayed very well. Not done yet, will return tomorrow. I just cracked the surface. Prices are very fair.
