“What an adorable shop! Such a great place to find an eclectic selection of home goods - MCM, upcycled, repurposed, curated, and new articles that can make great gifts OR great additions to your home. The candles are especially delicious - I can’t resist. My favorite things are the cat nip toys (which are also my cat’s favorite.) I made the mistake of not buying a beautiful bowl I saw. Naturally one of a kind. I thought I’d go back and get it two days later but it was sold. I should know better!! Months later I still think about it.
The owner Rebecca is fabulous, her staff is charming and Bernie, the original Moustache cat, is a sweetheart. It’s a really sweet spot to stop by if you are out and about and looking for something different - highly recommended.”
“The best selection of 17th - 19th century antique furniture in the region. Exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly purveyors. We've purchased many items from Robert Riesberg Antiques and couldn't be happier with them or our experience!”
“I've been shopping here for years now and it's one of my favourite spots in the Twin Cities. First of all, the owners are just really kind and welcoming people. Secondly, it's one of those shops where I never come away empty handed. Lots of well selected cool vintage items, a nice selection of clothes and there's always some great records in stock. It's well organised and even the music playing is usually great. Just a really cool place to check out.”
“A thrift store with a decent sized mens collection?! No way! Plenty of mens jackets, shirts, and sweaters! I actually managed to find a long wool overcoat there (in my size!) what wasn't 50% polyester for sub $100. The outercoat itself was wool with a nylon lining. Plenty of old grandpa sweaters, which always rock, and flannels.
This store 100% has my future business.”
“Great place, about ten beautifully restored machines ranging from the vintage Elton John to the newest (T2 just sold), new machines about every 3 months per owner, and check out the video game cabinets, and some vintage 45s for the record machine. Say hello to the incoming mayor, too!”
“First-time customer and super-happy with the help I received at NWAS. Contractor broke a doorknob spindle on my 1914 home, trying to open a little-used balcony access door. I took the broken spindle and knobs to NWAS and explained what I needed. The owner showed me several options and made a recommendation. He also told me if none of these were the right size he could make one for me. I picked the one he chose, brought it home, installed it, and now I have a working door. Thanks, NWAS!”
“This lovely little shop has everything from vintage clothes to native jewelry to newer collectibles to almost anything you can think of and all at reasonable prices. The space isn’t overwhelming and the staff is very friendly.”
“A beautiful Christmas and antique store filled with incredible antiques and truly stunning ornaments. Every detail is thoughtfully curated, making the entire space feel magical. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, and you can tell they genuinely care about the experience they provide. A must-visit for anyone who loves timeless pieces and festive charm.”
“So many items to look over! I think they have one of everything ever made. If you can't find what you're looking for here, I don't think it exists!”
“I've brought items toTracy twice. He had collectors that collected both of what I brought in. Tracy was So Kind.
He took the time to look over the items....they went right away. Thank You Tracy for your Professionalism and Kindness ! I Will Definitely stop in again !!”
“I loved this shop! It was my first time and it seemed to be the only one of its kind open on Sunday. Each seller has their own style, yet they all compliment to make a very dynamic place to spend some of a day off. Mostly vintage but what is super special is some of the original art....seems like they score some interesting lots. They let me take pics of things I may want to come back for. Customer service was incredible and I actually had a very meaningful conversation with Chris, whi was running the show. Very knowledgeable. Ill be back for sure!”
“Drop by this shop for a quick look at their wares! They're constantly getting new items. They do a fantastic job fixing up old items into a treasure you can bring home. I pop by at least a couple times a month to see what they have, and I've already brought home a few pieces that I fell in love with!”
