I placed a custom order over the phone and was told it was no problem and a simple order. When I went to pickup my order they told me that they didn't complete the order let alone even start it. The bakery employee told me it was my fault for placing the order over the phone and that it wasn't a simple order. I ordered doughnuts with chocolate frosting and a pink or red filling for a gender reveal party. No one bothered to tell me the ordered wasn't done and they were extremely rude about it.

I gave this store a one for the grocery store itself. Use caution if wanting to work here. They will do little or no training. SLP police monitor this store as they do not train employees on the selling of alcohol and cigarettes. They have received many citations and you as the employees get to pay them. Do your research and work anywhere else.

Was looking to purchase some donuts... Was told the bakery was closed and the workers proceeded to throw them away. Then the workers decided that they would just give them away to children, but not to us. I guess better throw them out as refuse instead of selling to willing customers.

We stopped by Hy Vee today and decided to have lunch in their market place before we went grocery shopping. We decided to have hibachi today. I ordered the pork with rice noodles, veggies and terriyaki sauce. It was pretty good. They do have other places to choose from like pizza, chicken, burgers and another asian place. If you are in the area you may want to try this.

We went to hy vee to do some grocery shopping. Before we started shopping we decided to get some lunch in their market place area. We had stopped here before and had fried rice which was pretty good but today we decided to try the hibachi grill. You pick out your noodles or rice then veggies and then protein and sauce. It was really pretty good. I got the rice noodles, veggies, chicken and teriyaki sauce. Would recommend if you are looking for food you may enjoy.

Wow! Delicious, fresh lunch today at the different food small shops along the side of the store that offers many kinds of cuisines: from freshly grilled wood pizza, hibachi grill, & many others! I picked a build-your-own-bowl from the hibachi's offering. I picked out my fresh ingredients from the raw area with the help of the friendly hibachi server who grilled it up to perfection! Kudos Hy-Vee!

WOW Customer service! We had an event planned tonight for 80 people and with the storms last night, our catering service lost all of our food. Kari and Amy at the Spring Lake Park HyVee were able to pull together a menu last minute AND deliver it to us last minute! They really helped us in a bind. I have always loved HyVee, but then now earned a customer for life and will get all of my catering referrals! Thank you so much!! #amazing #customerservice

I had pulled pork sliders and they were incredibly tough. The barbecue sauce was decent. The prices are very high. We also had an eclair. It was stale.

Had a mixed experience in shopping at Hy-Vee Spring Lake Park. Love the tidiness and variety of products. However, discounted pricing is not always reflected at the register. Also, watch out for some of the disconted pricings are only for PLUS customers. You need a magnifying glass to see the small print under the discounted price. So be prepared that it will take you longer to shop in Hy-Vee versus other grocery stores. I have to have price adjusted or request customer service help during self check out about 80% of the time. Couple recently bad experience: 1) Weekly deals ad received via Facebook were not honored at the sotre saying that was a misprint. 2) Bakery code was marked incorrectly by their staff and charged me more. When questioned the bakery staff, they said the price was increased yesterday. The bakery manager corrected the staff that it was not the case. I ended up paying the same price as the day before but it took me 15 extra minutes to square this away.

I've usually liked HyVee but my last visit was not good. I'm scared off. I came home with a moldy loaf of bread, a gallon of milk soured a week after purchase and it hadn't reached the exploration date and a container of half anf half soured right away. This was all in the same visit.

They have very good baked breads sliced the way you want Very friendly staff, knowledgeable if you are looking for items. Very helpful. Lots of great variety of items

I cannot go into these stores. The fish smell from the seafood department is so putrid it smells like a day old tampon disposal bag that needs changing.......Sooooo Gross!
